Hamas-Israel War in Gaza; Glimpses through Camera Lenses

The Gazan Palestinian Hamas did a heroic attack of Israel on 7 October 2023 and its continuing till now with dangerous expansion. The Israel defense was billed as impregnable and perfect war machine. However, the Hamas Mujahedeen have shattered the claim as one more exaggerated propaganda. Here is a glimpse through camera lenses.

A blockade has been imposed by Israel and Egypt on the movement of goods and people in and out of the Gaza Strip since 2005. After Hamas' takeover in 2007, the blockade aimed to isolate Hamas and prevent the smuggling of weapons into Gaza.

A fence along the border was first constructed by Israel in 1994 as a security barrier, and has been rebuilt and upgraded since. It was constructed by Israel to control the movement of people as well as goods between the Gaza Strip and Israel, which it could not achieve by normal border crossings.

Gaza was an Open Jail under round the clock surveillance. The IDF was watching, monitoring and controlling the every moment of life at Gaza. 

In the past, Israel has mounted three major assaults on the 2.1 million Palestinians trapped behind its blockade of the Gaza Strip. Taken together, Operation Cast Lead (2008-9), Operation Pillar of Defense (2012), and Operation Protective Edge (2014), have resulted in the deaths of some 3,700 Palestinians. Meanwhile, a total of 90 Israelis were killed in the invasions.

Gaza Mujahedeen mounted a surprise attack on Israel on 7 October 2023, which was also a Sabbath Day and Yom Kippur as well. The details of the Attack can be read on following Link:

An attack on an ambulance convoy in Gaza City on Friday killed at least 15 people, according to health officials. 

The leaders of the Muslim countries are sleep walking the crisis; and the response from OIC and most the Muslim Nations are simply disappointing. In some cases media is reporting silent support to Israel even.

Yemeni leader Ansarullah Muhammad al-Buhaiti accused the UAE and Saudi Arabia of collaborating with Israel against the Palestinians.

“We asked Saudi Arabia to lift the blockade and allow our troops into Palestine, but they refused.”

However, the general public at large across the globe are protesting against the in human treatment given to Palestinian.

Israel is not fighting a war, but ravaging a brutal genocide upon Gazans and several war crimes is being committed in broad day light under ull patronage of USA and other western powers. One major exception is Russia where President Putin has given a very different statement from the messages that arise from western corridors.
