A session was arranged from the Kitchen of BangBox on how to make Almond Cake. Almond cake is one of the delicate tea-time cakes with a triple dose of almond flavor. Crushed almonds and Almond essence in the batter, and topped with crunchy roasted almonds on the top of the cake. Almond cake is one of the best partners of tea because it is a light cake that the whole family can enjoy without feeling too full and almond cake is family liked cake. Almond cake is an all-rounder cake; it's delicious and served on its own but it can also be served as a secondary dessert at parties as a contrast to a grand dessert. It is easy to be made and can be stored for 3 to 4 days.
The ingredients used in the almond cake include 5 tablespoons of honey and also take ¼ cup of fresh water. Then take 5 tablespoons of sugar,3/4 cup of sliced almond, and ½ tablespoon of baking powder. Some other ingredients include 4 eggs, 2 cups of flour, 1 cup of butter or oil, and 1 tablespoon of Vinnela Essence.
First, we will take the eggs and beat them in a bowl with the mixture, after beating it well then add the oil to it and mix both the egg and oil well. Now after mixing it add the Vinnela Essence and baking powder to the bowl and mix it well, in last add the flour to it. Mix the flour until flour is incorporated into the bowl. Now take a 9-inch pan and grease it and add the batter to it. Then take the pan and bake it in preheated oven at 180 degrees for at least 25 minutes. After the cake is baked in the oven, take some sugar and water in a pan and put it on a low flame for making the glaze. Keep stirring the water and sugar and after some time add the honey to it also and mix it well finally add the Almonds to the glaze and mix it then quickly top it on the cake. And finally, our Almond cake is ready to be served.
