ALLAH is the creator and sustainer of all and everything. He has given clear directions through his Prophets and Holy Books. This write up is about three lands or human dwellings which are reflection of Quran's teachings and what lesson can be drawn from these examples by the people of Pakistan.
﷽
The creator and owner of the entire Universe is Allah Subhan Taala and and He is also its inheritor. His is the True Ruler and His sovereignty is established everywhere; Everything is subject to His command. His glorification is being described everywhere, in all the places and at all the times.
He desired that He should be known and recognized, so He created living and non-living things and endowed them with diverse abilities. Then He created man and gave him the status of “Best of the Creations”(Ashraf al-Mukhluqat) and made him His Viceroy (Khalifa), or vicegerent, only on the planet Earth in the entire universe. He then sent Adam (AS)(and therefore the progeny) to the Earth to establish His sovereignty. This will be the test of mankind, and through this test, on the Day of Judgment, the Day of Reckoning; a decision will be made as to who would be successful or otherwise?
Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala made mankind aware of His Lordship on the Day of Resurrection (Yum e Alust) and took the pledge of His servitude. Then He gave birth to Hazrat Adam (peace be upon him) in the clay body and took out mother Hawa (peace be upon her) from rib of Adam and then sent them to the earth for the role of Khilafah (vicegerent). From time to time He sent Prophets as Messengers to show the way from the misguidance created by Iblis Lain / Satan.
He sent about one hundred and twenty-four thousand Bashirs and Nazirs, and the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was the last Messenger and the Prophet. Now after Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) no Prophet, or Messenger will be raised; now only His servants, the slaves of the Hazrat Muhammad (peace be upon him), will raise His flag. Keep this in mind that now on this earth only people who,“ [O you who believe], obey Allah and obey the Messenger”, will be at right path or right way, otherwise, all others will be nothing but outcome of Satanic work.
Let's discuss about it and check some examples to have better understanding about above argument.
In the Qur'an, a city is mentioned in Sorah Yasin
Give them an example ˹O Prophet˺ of the residents of a town,
When the messengers came to them. We sent them two messengers, but they rejected both. So We reinforced ˹the two˺ with a third, and they declared, “We have indeed been sent to you ˹as messengers˺.”
The people replied, “You are only humans like us, and the Allah, Most Compassionate has not revealed anything. You are simply lying!”
The messengers responded, “Our Lord knows that we have truly been sent to you.
And our duty is only to deliver ˹the message˺ clearly.”
The people replied, “We definitely see you as a bad omen for us. If you do not desist, we will certainly stone you ˹to death˺ and you will be touched with a painful punishment from us.”
The messengers said, “Your bad omen lies within yourselves. Are you saying this because you are reminded ˹of the truth˺? In fact, you are a transgressing people.”
(Verses: 13-19)
Dear readers; Just consider that the establishment of sovereignty of Allah is a collective responsibility, but every human being will be accountable for his actions on the Day of Resurrection. According to the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad, (PBUH) there are three levels of faith; Every person who is a claimant of faith, when he is presented with a situation, he will act according to one level of his faith. In the above stated land, Allah Subhan Ta’ala is describing the example of only one person (even a single servant is important in the court of Allah Ta’ala; who stands as a witness to the truth).
Then from the farthest end of the city a man came, rushing.
He advised, “O my people! Follow the messengers.
Allah Almighty sent two messengers to the people of a city, who called the people of that city to believe in Monotheism and Prophet hood, but the people of the city rejected them after hearing their call. One more messenger was sent to help both of them. Now these three messengers advised the nation that we have been sent to you as messengers, but instead of accepting this, the nation raised the same objection that most of the nations did to their messengers. And that objection was that you are human beings like us, so how can you be the Messenger of God? That is, according to the belief of those infidels, the Messenger should not be from among humans but from angels, and since they were human beings, they could not be Messengers.
Along with this, the disbelievers also said that God, the Most Merciful, did not reveal anything, that is, the claim of revelation was false, and they were liars who claim to be a prophet before them. Instead of answering harsh words, those messengers answered in a very beautiful way that our Lord knows that we are indeed the messengers of God and also know that our only responsibility is to make the message of God clear to you. In response to this, the people said that we consider you evil, so you should stop your preaching, otherwise we will punish you severely and stone you to death.
Those messengers replied that do not call us evil because your evil is with you in the form of your disbelief and misguidance. Are you people going to stone us because we have tried to explain the right thing to you, if this is the case, then you are a people who are exaggerating.
Then further details are given in verses 22-27; which are as follows:-
While this conversation was going on and the people were bent on martyring those messengers, persecuting them and disobeying their message, this word reached a believing man who lived on the outskirts of the city, who supported the Messengers of Allah. And he came running to explain to his people and told them to follow these messengers. This is a very clear proof of their truthfulness that they have no worldly interest in conveying this message. They do not ask you for any compensation. They are guided that their words are reasonable and understandable.
Also, my people! I am also a Muslim and a worshiper of the Creator of the universe, and what is wrong with me that I should not worship the God who created me, should I worship idols other than Him whose intercession cannot benefit me and Nor can they save me when God wants to harm me. If, despite this, I worship anyone other than God, then I will be in open error. Despite hearing these words of a man of faith, the people did not believe, but he was martyred by his people۔
And after his death, Allah told him the good news of Paradise through the language of angels. After hearing the good news of heaven, that unrighteous man made this wish: I wish my people would know that my Lord has forgiven me and honored me.
After the above description, the result is then explained somewhat like this in verses 28-29 which is an open lesson for all of Human beings.
We did not send any soldiers from the heavens against his people after his death, nor did We need to.
All it took was one ˹mighty˺ blast, and they were extinguished at once.
Allah (swt) makes the land narrow for His disobedient and destroys His rebels.
Let us consider the example of another town that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala made holy
Allah (swt) sent Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) on this earth as his last prophet and messenger and established an Islamic state and set an example to the rest of the world through him.
In Surah Al-Fath of the Holy Qur'an, Allah Subhan Ta'ala has indicated this
Muḥammad is the Messenger of Allah. And those with him are firm with the disbelievers1 and compassionate with one another. You see them bowing and prostrating2 ˹in prayer˺, seeking Allah’s bounty and pleasure. The sign ˹of brightness can be seen˺ on their faces from the trace of prostrating ˹in prayer˺. This is their description in the Torah.3 And their parable in the Gospel is that of a seed that sprouts its ˹tiny˺ branches, making it strong. Then it becomes thick, standing firmly on its stem, to the delight of the planters4—in this way Allah makes the believers a source of dismay for the disbelievers.5 To those of them who believe and do good, Allah has promised forgiveness and a great reward. (Verse 29)
Indeed, We have granted you a clear triumph ˹O Prophet˺ (Verse 01)
Indeed, Allah was pleased with the believers when they pledged allegiance to you ˹O Prophet˺ under the tree. He knew what was in their hearts, so He sent down serenity upon them and rewarded them with a victory at hand,
and many spoils of war they will gain. For Allah is Almighty, All-Wise. (Verse 18-19)
He is the One Who sent down serenity upon the hearts of the believers so that they may increase even more in their faith. To Allah ˹alone˺ belong the forces of the heavens and the earth. And Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise. (04)
To Allah ˹alone˺ belong the forces of the heavens and the earth. And Allah is Almighty, All-Wise. (07)
Surely those who pledge allegiance to you ˹O Prophet˺ are actually pledging allegiance to Allah. Allah’s Hand is over theirs. Whoever breaks their pledge, it will only be to their own loss. And whoever fulfils their pledge to Allah, He will grant them a great reward.(10).
Those who stayed behind will say, when you ˹believers˺ set out to take the spoils of war, “Let us accompany you.” They wish to change Allah’s promise.1 Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “You will not accompany us. This is what Allah has said before.” They will then say, “In fact, you are driven by jealousy against us!”2 The truth is: they can hardly comprehend. (15).
Say to nomadic Arabs, who stayed behind, “You will be called ˹to fight˺ against a people of great might,1 who you will fight unless they submit. If you then obey, Allah will grant you a fine reward. But if you turn away as you did before, He will inflict upon you a painful punishment.” (16).
Dear readers; It will be remembered that Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala sent Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) as the last prophet and the Qur’an al-Hakim is His last book, so one thing that should be kept in mind is stated in the following verse of the same Surah Al-Fath.
˹This is˺ Allah’s way, already long established ˹in the past˺. And you will find no change in Allah’s way.
Allah Subhan Ta'ala founded the state of Madinah at the hands of his Habib Muhammad (peace be upon him) and showed the manifestations of an Islamic state through the four rightly caliphs of the Hazrat Muhammad (peace be upon him). Now, in the light of the guidance of the Holy Qur'an and following the footsteps of the state of Madinah-e-Rasul, any group of people can build a state under the rule of Allah on this earth. If we look at the history of the last fourteen hundred years, it is evident that a prosperous settlement on earth is based on the principles that were practiced in the state of Madinah; Even if that human settlement is not of the believers of Allah Dhul-Jalal; That is, even if it is of infidels or non-Muslims.
But a warning should always be kept in mind that the prosperity and progress of the earth is not a guarantee of the success of the afterlife, nor is it a metaphor for it.
We humans are on this earth in a period of trials individually and also collectively.
Let us now consider the example of the third land; This human habitat was the first settlement after the state of Madinah that was established on the basis of the fundamental principles of Islam. The Islamic Republic of Pakistan which was achieved at the time of the partition of India under the British Crown on the basis of Kalima Tayyaba (What does Pakistan mean? La ilaha illa Allah Muhammad ul Rasool Allah).
The mosque was built by those who had faith in a night; But one an old sinner, so could not become a namazi in years. This is a verse of Iqbal, who is the national poet of Pakistan and this poem belongs to him, and the country was achieved under the inspiring leadership of Hazrat Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, but somehow it is still a far cry from being any sort of state of Medina, not even on worldly principles of prosperity and development. The state was achieved to establish the sovereignty of Allah Subhan Ta'ala, but it is not even a simple state.
At first the state was halved when East Pakistan seceded in 1971 AD and became liberal secular Bangladesh. The rest of the let over West Pakistan became a laughinh stock. If this country is to be described in a simple way, it is not in any way a kingdom of God or a kingdom of worldly development. And if it remains on the same level, Allah's law does not change and its whip is silent.
˹This is˺ Allah’s way, already long established ˹in the past˺. And you will find no change in Allah’s way. (Sorah Al Fath Verse23)
The important thing that must always be clearly remembered is that any region on the earth where a Muslim is settled will have to obey the command of
To explain this, the following verse of Surah Al-Fath of Quran Al-Hakim is presented:-.
so that you ˹believers˺ may have faith in Allah and His Messenger, support and honour him, and glorify Allah morning and evening. (09)
He is the One Who has sent His Messenger with ˹right˺ guidance and the religion of truth, making it prevail over all others. And sufficient is Allah as a Witness. (28)
The Qur'an al-Hakim is very clear and simple in its reasoning and Allah Subhan Ta'ala has explained it in another way in Surah al-Tawbah.
He is the One Who has sent His Messenger with ˹true˺ guidance and the religion of truth, making it prevail over all others, even to the dismay of the polytheists.
The same message has been repeated in Surah Al Suff
Dear readers; Allah Subhan Ta'ala has favored the inhabitants of the Indian subcontinent by giving the state of Pakistan so that He may bestow His bounty on them and complete His reward. But the nation was not ready for it and Allah Subhan Ta'ala deprived the nation of its reward for the failure of this collective responsibility. What is the country of Pakistan today but a joke in the whole world?
Today, Pakistan has been established for more than 76 years; And Allah guides every generation through its trials. Today in 2024 AD, an additional collective responsibility on the residents of the Kingdom of Pakistan is the war of right and wrong on the Holy Land “Al-Quds”. This war imposes certain responsibilities on Muslims all over the world. For details, read Sheikh Imran Hussain's book "Jerusalem in Qur'an". Here a very important order is entered:-;
May the holy land of Jerusalem be so dear to Muslims all over the world; Like Mecca and Medina, and the struggle to liberate this holy land from the clutches of the Zionist Jews is the duty of all.
There can never be peace between the true followers of the Messenger of Allah Muhammad ﷺ and the non-Muslims, and eventually Islam will win and the Holy Land will be free.
The Holy Qur'an has given a clear command in Surah Anfal
As for the disbelievers, they are guardians of one another. And unless you ˹believers˺ act likewise, there will be great oppression and corruption in the land.
From the examples of the three lands given above, three clear signs of Allah Subhan Ta'ala are evident. And that follows an open lesson which is presented:-
Allah (swt) makes the land narrow for His disobedients and destroys His rebels.
The ancient constitution of Allah, the Shariat, is described in the Holy Qur'an and Allah does not change His Shariat.
So, are the people of state of Pakistan heading towards a disaster? A hadith of Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ is presented:-.
Khabab bin Arath (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) once offered a long prayer, and the Companions said: Messenger of Allah! He said: "Yes, it was a prayer of hope and fear. In it, I asked Allah Ta'ala for three supplications, of which Allah Ta'ala answered two; Accepted and did not accept one, I asked the first dua that my Ummah should not perish in a general famine, Allah accepted this dua of mine, I made the second dua that none of the foreigners would kill them. Do not impose on the enemy, Allah accepted this supplication of mine, I asked the third supplication that one of them should not taste the fight of the other, so Allah Almighty did not accept this supplication of mine." (Sunan Tirmidhi Hadith No: 2175)
From the above hadith, we can conclude that the inhabitants of the state of Pakistan themselves will suffer from their spread of corruption and mischief; and the inhabitants of this earth will be the cause of the destruction of one another. This would be a failure of our collective responsibility.
Pakistan is a unique state in the entire Islamic world. This state was established as a result of a legal struggle and was founded on the most popular slogan of the world today, democratic value. The democratic value imposes collective and individual responsibility on the people of the state. The people of Pakistan seem to be failing in their collective responsibility, so can't they also fulfill their individual duties? In today's world, the alternative to the ancient "beit" is the vote; so, do the people of Pakistan use their vote correctly? If not until today, then how long will it be same? Does this human habitat know its duty? When will the residents of this land learn their lesson; will remember and act on it?
