Status of Muslims After Ottoman Empire

The Islamic world is suffering from decline and is mentally, psychologically and economically deprived since the colonial era. Everything that has happened and is still happening in the Islamic world after the end of the war of Crusades is in the context of implementing a plan prepared by Louis IX, King of France. This write up is an English translated opinion of an Arab Scholar Dr Ehsan Samara on FB.

"An insight into what has happened and is happening in the lands of the Muslims since the dismantling of the Ottoman state and its removal from reality": Written By Dr Ehsan Samara

Everything that has happened and is still happening in the Islamic world after the end of the wars known as the Crusades and their failure, is in the context of implementing a plan prepared by Louis IX, King of France, while he was a prisoner in the house of Ibn Luqman in Mansoura, Egypt, the gist of which is; Military force alone is insufficient to defeat the Muslims.

Therefore, a plan was devised based on intellectual and political warfare, summarized as follows: "Working to sow discord among Muslim leaders, preventing Arab and Islamic countries from establishing a just system of governance, separating the popular base from its leaders by corrupting the ruling systems in Muslim countries through bribery, corruption, and the exploitation of women, preventing the formation of a strong, loyal army that believes in its duty to its homeland and sacrifices for its principles, preventing Arab unity in the region, and working to establish a Western state in the region that extends westward."

The Historical Encyclopedia - Al Jazeera Net website - refers to the memoirs of Janville, who was an aide to Louis IX, and the French archives. Qasim Abdo Qasim, "The Nature of the Crusades and the Poisoned Dagger with Which Muslims Were Stabbed," analyzes Louis IX's document and the shift towards cultural, intellectual, and Orientalist invasion after the Crusader military defeat.

Hence, according to these recommendations of Louis IX, there was a revival and activation of what is known as the Western intellectual invasion, through missionary movements and Orientalist programs, to spread the poisonous, destructive, and polluting Western Zionist-Crusader intellectual poisons to Islamic ideas and concepts, and to spread secular values, obscurantist and pagan ideas and concepts, and to revive ethnic and sectarian prejudices and tendencies so that the nation would remain mired in internal conflicts that weaken its strength, deplete its energies, and dissipate its resources, wealth, and capabilities in what does not benefit it, and make it a tail for the Zionist-Crusader colonial states, through methods of intellectual and political deception and falsification, so that the nation (Muslim Ummah) would remain separated from Islam as a creed, law, and way of life, and far from the foundations of its glory, mired in backwardness and decline, lost in the depths of darkness, and deprived of religious, intellectual, and political awareness, so that the nation would remain drugged by hopes and dreams, and drowned in illusions.

Those who practice religious arts and religious media have been used as tools to disable its effectiveness and influence, through the illusions of predestination and the deception of false hopes, and to stifle and weaken it in the name of religion. This has pushed the nation, through poisoned religious indoctrination, to the margins of life and history, until it has reached a state of frustration and despair, hindering it from adopting the means of its liberation and its spiritual, material, and moral renaissance. It prevents it from being a nation of effectiveness and influence based on its Islamic principles, its lofty values, and its noble ideals, as God Almighty intended in His saying:

"You are the best nation produced for mankind. You enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and believe in God. If only the People of the Scripture had believed..." It would have been better for them. Among them are believers, but most of them are transgressors. (Al Imran: 110)

The greatest deviation of the nation from the foundations of its glory in its religion is what has happened and is still happening at the present time, which is pushing the nation into more apathy, by preoccupying it with appearances of compensatory formal religiosity, and minimizing its religious and worldly concerns, so that it cannot return to the center of influence in life, by making its life cycle in its religion and worldly affairs linked to the wheel of the rulers, with whom the interests of the colonial Zionist Crusader states are linked, without regard for Islam or Muslims, nor for plundering the nation’s wealth, capabilities and the foundations of its renaissance and glory, nor for the neglect of true Islam, nor for the necessity of making it the axis around which they revolve wherever it goes, and making it the basis in light of which the ideas, concepts and inclinations of the rising Muslims are formed, and by whose guidance their lives are organized, and by whose light their relationships are built, and according to which their view of life is determined, and they persist in alienating the rising of the children of Muslims, and keeping them unaware of their true religion.

So that young men and women are alienated from the true religion and embraced by destructive, seductive ideologies that poison their minds with a torrent of doubts, fabrications, and fallacies. These ideologies portray Islam, its concepts, and its rulings as contrary to reason, whether in its beliefs, values, laws, and judgments, or in its historical development. Through these doubts, fabrications, and fallacies, Islam is depicted as a religion unsuitable for contemporary life, one that should not extend beyond rituals, devotional practices, funeral rites, and incantations for protection against magic, the evil eye, and the like.

The aim is to alienate the largest possible number of educated and cultured individuals, both Muslim and non-Muslim, from Islam and incite them to hostility towards it. This is especially true after terrorism and fabricated violence are associated with those who adhere to Islam, those who have been drawn into colonial-directed religious movements, unconsciously engaging in verbal and physical violence.

These movements are manufactured and funded by colonial powers as part of Islamophobic Westernization programs, serving as a pretext for fighting Islam locally. Globally, by force and through laws, in the context of the fierce American assault on Islam and Muslims, the aim is to restructure the Middle East along ethnic and sectarian lines, further fragmenting the already fragmented Muslim world and dividing the nation into sects and parties under the pretext of heresy and apostasy.

This is in addition to keeping the nation preoccupied with a cycle of crisis stemming from its failure to keep pace with current political, social, and intellectual transformations accompanying the fierce American assault on Islam and Muslims. Furthermore, the so-called manufactured, colonial-era political Islam is being employed in the current American colonial strategy to keep Muslims backward and make them feel that Islam is the cause of all their problems, thus increasing their aversion to it.

This is in addition to the recent American use of militant groups with Islamic slogans against the Israeli entity to further integrate the Israeli entity in the region, within the context of its restructuring of the New Middle East, aims to render the Palestinian issue intractable through military confrontation.

This is presented as a form of sedition, and silence regarding it is deemed obligatory in the name of the Quran and Sunnah, as promoted by their agents and recruits from among the paid religious, intellectual, political, and media elites. These individuals consistently collaborate with colonial and Westernizing circles and institutions to reduce Islam to a mere sect or religious school of thought among the established religions, both locally and globally.

They seek to distract Muslims from internal conflicts involving priestly religious practices, disputes over rituals, and an overemphasis on minor details, thereby weakening the religious zeal Islam mandates and rendering them incapable of confronting the cunning schemes and machinations of the colonial powers.

Therefore, in this situation, it is incumbent upon all pious Muslims, and all those concerned with the affairs of Islam and Muslims of all categories, loyalties, and intellectual and political affiliations, to rise up as one and mobilize in a unified and coordinated manner to confront, intellectually, politically, economically, and militarily, the current Zionist-Crusader colonial onslaught led by America, in order to thwart their plots against Islam and Muslims.

ALLAH is the supporter of those who support Him, and He weakens the schemes of the disbelievers, as He, the Exalted, said:

"And they have plotted their plot, and with God is their plot, even if their plot was such that the mountains should be moved thereby. So do not think that God will fail in His promise to His messengers. Indeed, God is the One Who gives life and death." (Abraham: 47).

God Almighty has spoken the truth.

Following the collapse of the Ottoman Empire and the official abolition of the Caliphate in 1924, the global Muslim community transitioned from a vast, unified geopolitical structure into a decentralized landscape. The subsequent decades were defined by European colonialism, rapid modernization, and the emergence of independent nation-states. The status of Muslims may be summarized as follows:-

Middle East: Lands previously under Ottoman control were divided by Britain and France through agreements like the Sykes-Picot Agreement. This created new nations (such as Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, and Palestine) and led to foreign domination, sparking local nationalist and anti-colonial movements.

The Indian Subcontinent: Muslims in British India, who had deeply revered the Ottoman Caliph, launched the Khilafat Movement in the 1920s to preserve it. Following its collapse, their focus shifted toward local independence struggles, culminating in the creation of Pakistan in 1947.

Turkey: Under the leadership of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, Turkey was transformed into a secular republic. Radical reforms were implemented, including the abolition of the Caliphate and the Sharia courts, the closure of Sufi orders, and the replacement of the Arabic script with the Latin alphabet.

Broader Region: Leaders across the Arab world increasingly adopted Western political models, prioritizing secular Arab nationalism or state-specific patriotism over pan-Islamic unity.

Balkans & Eastern Europe: As the empire receded, millions of Muslims (Muhacirs) were displaced or expelled as the region was divided into new nation-states.

The Caucasus: Many Muslim populations in the Caucasus faced expulsion and migration under the Russian Empire, moving into remaining Ottoman territories.

The Emergence of Islamic Revival Movements: The loss of the Caliphate spurred a quest to redefine Islamic identity and authority. Movements like the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, founded in 1928, arose to advocate for the re-establishment of Islamic governance and societal values in the face of secularism and European influence.

Shift to the Modern Nation-State System: Muslims in the former Ottoman realms adapted to strict national borders. Throughout the 20th and 21st centuries, these regions experienced varying degrees of political turmoil, conflict, and the rise of authoritarian regimes, while simultaneously witnessing massive economic transformations through oil wealth in the Gulf.

The Conclusion

Following the collapse and abolition of the Ottoman Empire (and Caliphate) in the 1920s, the Muslim world underwent a massive shift in status. Muslims fractured into newly created nation-states, transitioning from a unified imperial / religious identity to adopting secular nationalism.

Islamic scholars and intellectuals are debating how to reconcile traditional faith with modernity. Movements focusing on Islahi (reform) and Tajdid (renewal) called for unity across national borders and a return to the foundational roots of Islam. The immediate action would be to open borders and let the people move freely across all Muslim lands and let them engage into free trade.

تبصرة فيما جرى ويجري في بلاد المسلمين منذ تفكيك الدولة العثمانية وإزالتها من الواقع

كل ما يجري ولا يزال جاريا في العالم الإسلامي بعد انتهاء حروب ما عرف بالحملات الصليبية وفشلها، إنّما هو في سياق تنفيذ خطة أعدها لويس التاسع ملك فرنسا وهو أسير في دار ابن لقمان بالمنصورة في مصر، والتي مفادها؛ أنّ القوة العسكرية وحدها لا تكفي لهزيمة المسلمين، فوضع خطة تعتمد على الحرب الفكرية والسياسية تتلخص فيما يلي: "العمل على إشاعة الفرقة بين قادة المسلمين، وعدم تمكين البلاد العربية والإسلامية من أن يقوم فيها نظام حكم صالح، والعمل على فصل القاعدة الشعبية عن قادتها، بإفساد أنظمة الحكم في بلاد المسلمين بالرشوة والفساد والنساء، والحيلولة دون قيام جيش قوي مخلص مؤمن بحق وطنه عليه، ويضحِّي في سبيل مبادئه، والعمل على الحيلولة دون قيام وحدة عربية في المنطقة، والعمل على قيام دولة غربية في المنطقة تمتد لتصل إلى الغرب"، الموسوعة التاريخية -موقع الجزيرة نت-، فيها إشارة لمذكرات جانفيل الذي كان مرفقا للويس التاسع، وأرشيف الوثائق الفرنسي، قاسم عبده قاسم، ماهية الحروب الصليبية، والخنجر المسموم الذي طعن به المسلمون، حيث يحلل فيه وثيقة لويس التاسع والتحول نحو الغزو الثقافي والفكري والاستشراقي بعد الهزيمة العسكرية الصليبية.

ومن هنا فبحسب توصيات لويس التاسع هذه حصل انتعاش وتنشيط ما عرف بالغزو الفكري الغربي، وذلك بالحركات التبشيرية والبرامج الاستشراقية، لنفث السموم الصهيو صليبية الغربيّة الفكريّة الهدّامة التلويثيّة للأفكار والمفاهيم الإسلاميّة، ونشر القيم العَلمانيّة والأفكار والمفاهيم الظلاميّة والوثنيّة، وإحياء النعرات والنزعات العرقيّة والطائفيّة لتبقى الأمّة غارقة في صراعات بينيّة توهن من قوتها، وتستنفد طاقاتها، وتبدّد مواردها وثرواتها وإمكاناتها فيما لا يعود عليها بخير، ويجعل منها ذيلاََ للدول الاستعمارية الصهيو صليبيّة، بأساليب التضليل والتزييف الفكريّ والسياسيّ، لتبقى الأمّة منفصلة بذلك عن الإسلام عقيدة وشريعة ونظام حياة، وبعيدة عن مقومات عِزّتها، غارقة في التخلف والانحطاط، وتائهة في دياجير الظلام، ومغيّبة عن الوعي الديني والفكري والسياسي، لتظل الأمّة مخدرة بالأمانيّ والأحلام، وغارقة في الأوهام، التي اتُّخِذ ذوي الحرف الدينية والإعلام الديني أداة لتعطيلها عن الفاعلية والتأثير، بأوهام القدرية الغيبية، والتغرير بالأمانيّ الخادعة، وإماتتها والفتّ في عضدها باسم الدين، ودفع الأمّة بالتثقيف الديني المسموم إلى هامش الحياة والتاريخ، حتى وصل بها الحال إلى الإحباط واليأس، وإعاقتها عن الأخذ بأسباب تحررها ونهضتها الروحية والمادية والمعنوية، ويمنعها من أن تكون أمة ذات فاعلية وتأثير بمبدئها الإسلامي، وقيمها الرفيعة، ومثلها العليا السامية، كما أراد الله سبحانه وتعالى في قوله: ( كُنتُمْ خَيْرَ أُمَّةٍ أُخْرِجَتْ لِلنَّاسِ تَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَتَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنكَرِ وَتُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّهِ ۗ وَلَوْ آمَنَ أَهْلُ الْكِتَابِ لَكَانَ خَيْرًا لَّهُم ۚ مِّنْهُمُ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ وَأَكْثَرُهُمُ الْفَاسِقُون) آل عمران: (١١٠).

وأكبر انحراف بالأمة عن مقومات عزتها بدينها، ما جرى وما زال جاريا في الوقت الراهن، من دفع الأمّة إلى مزيد من الغثائية، بمشاغلتها بمظاهر من التدين الشكليّ التعويضي، وتقزيم اهتماماتها الدينيّة والدنيويّة، حتى لا يمكن لها أن تعود إلى بؤرة التأثير في الحياة، وذلك بجعل دورتها الحياتية في دينها ودنياها مرتبطة بعجلة الحكام، الذين ترتبط بهم مصالح الدول الاستعمارية الصهيو صليبيّة، غير مبالين بالإسلام ولا بالمسلمين، ولا بنهب ثروات الأمّة ومقدراتها ومقومات نهضتها وعزتها، ولا مراعاة للتفريط بالإسلام الحق، ولا بوجوب جعله هو المحور الذي يدورون معه حيث دار، وجعله الأساس الذي تتشكل على ضوئه أفكار ومفاهيم وميول ناشئة المسلمين، وعلى هداه تنتظم به حياتهم، وعلى ضوئه يصار في بناء علاقاتهم، وبحسبه تتعيّن وجهة نظرهم في الحياة، ويمعنون في تغريب الناشئة من أبناء المسلمين، وتغييبهم عن الوعي على دينهم الحق، حتى ينفر عموم الشباب والشابات من الدين الحق، وتحتضنهم المذاهب الإغوائية الهدّامة، التي تسمم عقولهم بسيل من الشبهات والمفتريات والمغالطات، التي تظهر الإسلام ومفاهيمه وأحكامه أنها مخالفة للعقل سواء في عقائده وقيمه وشرائعه وأحكامه، أم في صيرورته التاريخية، وتصوير الإسلام بتلك الشبهات والمفتريات والمغالطات أنه دين لا يصلح للحياة المعاصرة، وأنه يجب أن لا يتعدى الطقوس والشعائر التعبدية، ومراسم الجنائز، والرقى للتحوط من السحر والعين ونحو ذلك، حتى ينفر من الإسلام أكبر عدد ممكن من المتعلمين والمثقفين من أبناء المسلمين وغيرهم من الإسلام ويعادونه، خاصة بعد إلصاق الإرهاب والعنف المصطنع بمن يدين به، ممن انجروا مع التيارات التدينيّة الموجهة استعماريا، إلى التلبس بالعنف اللفظي والمادي عن غير وعي وإدراك، أن تلك التيارات التدينيّة مصنعة ومأجورة استعماريا، ضمن برامج الإسلام فوبيا التغريبية، كذريعة لمحاربة الإسلام محليّاََ وعالميّاََ بالقوة وبالقوانين، في سياق الهجمة الأمريكية الشرسة على الإسلام والمسلمين، للسير في إعادة هيكلة الشرق الأوسط على أسس عرقية وطائفية، لتفتيت المفتت من بلاد المسلمين، وتجزئة المجزأ منها، وتفرقة الأمّة في هذا السياق شيعاََ وأحزاباََ بتهمة البدعة والتكفير، بالإضافة إلى مشاغلة الأمّة بدوامة من الأزمات الناشئة عن عدم مواكبة التحولات السياسية والاجتماعية والفكرية الراهنة، المصاحبة للهجمة الأمريكية الشرسة على الإسلام والمسلمين، وتوظيف ما يسمى بالإسلام السياسي المُصنّع استعماريّاََ في الإستراتيجية الاستعماريّة الأمريكيّة الراهنة، حتى يبقى المسلمون متخلفين، ويشعرون أن السبب في ذلك كله هو الإسلام، فيزداد النّفور منه، هذا بالإضافة إلى التوظيف الأمريكي أخيراََ للتيارات القتالية بشعارات إسلامية في مواجهة الكيان الإسرائيلي للسير في دمج الكيان الإسرائيلي في المنطقة في سياق هيكلتها للشرق الأوسط الجديد، وجعل قضية فلسطين أمراََ غير مقدور عليه بالمواجهة العسكرية، وهي فتنة والسكوت عنها واجب باسم الكتاب والسنة كما يسوقون عن طريق عملائهم ومجنديهم من النخب الدينية والفكرية والسياسية والإعلامية المأجورة، والذين دأبهم العمل مع الدوائر والمؤسسات الاستعمارية التغريبيّة لجعل الإسلام مجرد طائفة، أو مذهب ديني ضمن الديانات المعهودة محليّاً وعالميّاََ، ومشاغلة المسلمين فيما بينهم بالنمط التدينيّ الكهنوتي، والمناكفات في شكل العبادات، والإغراق في الجزئيات، حتى يفقد المسلمون بذلك الحميّة الدينية التي يوجبها الإسلام، ويفقدون القدرة عل مواجهة مكر المستعمرين الماكرين وكيدهم ودسائسهم.

إذن والحالة هذه يتوجب على اتقياء المسلمين جميعاََ، ومن يهمهم أمر الإسلام والمسلمين بكافة فئاتهم وولاءاتهم وانتماءاتهم الفكرية والسياسية، أن يهبوا هبة رجل واحد، وينفروا نفيراََ عامّاََ بتنسيق موحد للتصدي فكريّاََ وسياسيّاََ واقتصاديّاََ وعسكريّاََ للهجمة الاستعمارية الصهيو صليبية الراهنة بقيادة أمريكا، لإفشال ما يمكرون به للإسلام والمسلمين، والله ناصر من ينصره، وموهن كيد الكافرين حيث قال سبحانه: (وَقَدْ مَكَرُوا مَكْرَهُمْ وَعِندَ اللَّهِ مَكْرُهُمْ وَإِن كَانَ مَكْرُهُمْ لِتَزُولَ مِنْهُ الْجِبَالُ فَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّ اللَّهَ مُخْلِفَ وَعْدِهِ رُسُلَهُ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزِيزٌ ذُو انتِقَام) إبراهيم: (٤٧)، صدق الله العظيم.
