Punjab MBBS and BDS NEET Admission Process 2025
To apply for MBBS/BDS in Punjab through NEET 2025, candidates must meet the following criteria
Admission to MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) and BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) courses in Punjab is based on the NEET 2025 exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The counselling and seat allotment are managed by Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot.
To apply for MBBS/BDS in Punjab through NEET 2025, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Academic Qualification:- Must have passed 10+2 (PCB) with a minimum of:
- 50% marks for General category
- 40% marks for SC/ST/OBC
- 45% marks for PWD candidates
- Minimum age: 17 years as of 31st December 2025
- No upper age limit as per the latest NEET guidelines (subject to change)
- Must qualify NEET UG 2025 with the required cut-off percentile:
- 50th percentile for General
- 40th percentile for SC/ST/OBC
- 45th percentile for PWD (General)
- For Punjab state quota, candidates must be domicile of Punjab.
- 15% All India Quota seats are open to all NEET qualified candidates.

Application Process
Here's how to apply for Punjab MBBS/BDS Admission 2025:
Step 1: NEET 2025 Registration- Appear and qualify in the NEET 2025 exam conducted by NTA.
- Visit the official site: www.bfuhs.ac.in
- Register with your NEET details and personal information
- Pay the application and counselling fee online
- NEET Scorecard
- 10+2 Marksheet & Passing Certificate
- Domicile Certificate
- Caste/Category Certificate (if applicable)
- Passport-size photographs
- Identity Proof (Aadhaar, PAN, etc.)
Merit List
- BFUHS will release a Punjab NEET Merit List 2025 based on NEET scores.
- Only registered candidates will be included in the merit list for counselling.
Counselling Process
Punjab MBBS/BDS counselling will be conducted in multiple rounds, including:
Round 1:- Choice filling and locking
- Seat allotment
- Reporting to allotted college
- For vacant seats
- Fresh choice filling
- Final round for leftover seats
- Usually offline
Note: If a candidate does not join after allotment, penalties or restrictions may apply.
