الوَطَنُ مَسْؤُولـِيَّةٌ وَبـِنَاءٌ : Homeland is a responsibility for building

بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

In the name of ALLAH, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

الوَطَنُ مَسْؤُولـِيَّةٌ وَبـِنَاءٌ

وطن ایک ذمہ داری اورمنبع تعمیر ہے۔

الحَمْدُ للَّهِ الَّذِي رَزَقَنَا الأَمَانَ فِي الأَوْطَانِ، وَأَنْعَمَ عَلَيْنَا بِحُسْنِ الإِيمَانِ، وَأَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، ذُو الفَضْلِ وَالإِحْسَانِ، وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ، صَلَوَاتُ اللهِ وَسَلامُهُ عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَى آلِهِ وَصَحْبِهِ أَجْمَعِينَ، وَالتَّابِعِينَ لَهُمْ بِإِحْسَانٍ إِلَى يَوْمِ الدِّينِ

أَمَّا بَعْدُ، فاعوذ باللہ من الشیطان الرجیم- بسم اللہ الرحمن الرحیم

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ إِذَا لَقِيتُمۡ فِئَةً۬ فَٱثۡبُتُواْ وَٱذۡڪُرُواْ ٱللَّهَ ڪَثِيرً۬ا لَّعَلَّكُمۡ تُفۡلِحُو…

بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

الوَطَنُ مَسْؤُولـِيَّةٌ وَبـِنَاءٌ

Homeland is a responsibility and a building.

Praise be to ALLAH who has granted us security in our homelands, and has blessed us with good faith. I bear witness that there is no god but ALLAH alone, without partner, the Possessor of Grace and Kindness, and I bear witness that Muhammad, peace be upon him, is His servant and Messenger. May the prayers and peace of ALLAH be upon him, his family, his companions, and all those who follow them in righteousness until the Day of Judgment. This is the translation of the recited verse from Surah Al Anfal:

أَمَّا بَعْدُ، فاعوذ باللہ من الشیطان الرجیم- بسم اللہ الرحمن الرحیم

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ إِذَا لَقِيتُمۡ فِئَةً۬ فَٱثۡبُتُواْ وَٱذۡڪُرُواْ ٱللَّهَ ڪَثِيرً۬ا لَّعَلَّكُمۡ تُفۡلِحُونَ (٤٥) وَأَطِيعُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ ۥ وَلَا تَنَـٰزَعُواْ فَتَفۡشَلُواْ وَتَذۡهَبَ رِيحُكُمۡ‌ۖ وَٱصۡبِرُوٓاْ‌ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ مَعَ ٱلصَّـٰبِرِينَ (٤٦)

O you who believe! When you meet (an enemy) force, take a firm stand against them and remember the Name of Allâh much (both with tongue and mind), so that you may be successful. (45) And obey Allâh and His Messenger, and do not dispute (with one another) lest you lose courage and your strength departs, and be patient. Surely, Allâh is with those who are As-Sâbirûn (the patient). (46)

Surah Al Anfal – 45-46

O servants of ALLAH, fear ALLAH and adopt piety and obey ALLAH, seeking His pleasure; for in piety there is salvation, and in gratitude for blessings there is success and prosperity.

O Muslims: Love of one's homeland is an innate quality that ALLAH has instilled in people, and striving for its advancement is something that adorns every rational person throughout all ages and times, because it is a sign of loyalty and belonging, awareness and purity. Islam came with loyalty and praised the goodness of belonging. Especially, if it is a homeland rich in noble qualities, adorned with the finest virtues. And what demonstrates the intensity of a person's attachment to their homeland is what the Messenger of ALLAH mentioned when he left Mecca. He looked back at it, bidding farewell to the memories there, with sadness, and said: By the name of ALLAH, you are the most beloved of lands to ALLAH, and were it not that your people expelled me from you, I would not have left. Consider the difficulty of leaving one's homeland, the hardship of departing from one's home, the places of childhood, and the playgrounds of youth. And reflect, O servant of ALLAH, on how the Prophet, peace be upon him made the blessing of a safe homeland one-third of worldly blessings when he said: Whoever among you wakes up secure in his home, healthy in his body, and with enough food for the day, it is as if the whole world has been given to him. What a blessing for those who appreciate its value! This, Islam has taken this instinct into account and placed it in its proper framework without excess or negligence. It has obligated the Muslim to preserve his homeland, to protect it from all harm, and to work towards its advancement and development. ALLAH Almighty says in Surah Al Tawba:

وَقُلِ ٱعۡمَلُواْ فَسَيَرَى ٱللَّهُ عَمَلَكُمۡ وَرَسُولُهُ ۥ وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ‌ۖ

And say (O Muhammad SAW) "Do deeds! Allâh will see your deeds, and (so will) His Messenger and the believers.

Surah Al Tawba – 105-Part

Just as Islam obligated the people of the homeland to defend it against dangers, it even made defending it an honor, an act of worship, and a means of drawing closer to ALLAH. This is clearly evident in the command to prepare the necessary equipment to the best of one's ability and strength. ALLAH says in Surah Al Anfal

وَأَعِدُّواْ لَهُم مَّا ٱسۡتَطَعۡتُم مِّن قُوَّةٍ۬

And make ready against them all you can of power,

Surah Al Anfal – 60-Part

The greatness of defending the homeland and guarding the borders to secure the homeland and its people is also evident in the words of the Prophet, peace be upon him. Two eyes that the Fire will not touch: an eye that wept out of fear of ALLAH, and an eye that stayed awake guarding in the cause of ALLAH, so He made the one who guards in the cause of ALLAH, a partner in the reward and recompense of one of the seven whom ALLAH will shade in His shade on the Day of Resurrection. He is the one who wept out of fear of ALLAH. What honour, what pride, what dignity for those who love their homelands, who defend its borders, and who seek their reward from ALLAH!

To the sons of the homeland who love it: The homeland has a right upon us, and fulfilling this right and rewarding this favor is done through work and sincerity in serving the homeland, each in his field and domain; The imam of the mosque, on his pulpit and in his prayer niche, guides, advises, preaches, and counsels. The doctor in his hospital is diligent, exerts himself, strives, and is sincere. The teacher in his school educates and teaches. The farmer in his field plants love. Out of devotion to serving this precious homeland, the student in school or university strives and toils in the pursuit of knowledge and achievement until he attains the highest ranks, so that his homeland rises with his rise, and this is indeed the return of the favor. Before that, we thank ALLAH for the blessing of this happy homeland upon us. The Prophet, peace be upon him, said: “ALLAH loves that when one of you does a job, he does it perfectly.”

O servants of ALLAH, fear ALLAH and be the best sons of your homeland in whose lands you grew up, from whose bounty you ate, in whose mosques and schools you were raised, and from whose facilities and benefits you enjoyed. ALLAH says in Surah Ibrahim:

وَإِذۡ تَأَذَّنَ رَبُّكُمۡ لَٮِٕن شَڪَرۡتُمۡ لَأَزِيدَنَّكُمۡ‌ۖ

And (remember) when your Lord proclaimed: "If you give thanks (by accepting Faith and worshipping none but Allâh), I will give you more (of My Blessings)

Surah Ibrahim – 7-Part

أقولُ مَا تَسْمَعُونَ، وَأَسْتَغْفِرُ اللهَ العَظِيمَ لِي وَلَكُمْ، فَاسْتَغْفِرُوهُ يَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ، إِنَّهُ هُوَ الغَفُورُالرَّحِيمُ، وَادْعُوهُ يَسْتَجِبْ لَكُمْ، إِنَّهُ هُوَ البَرُّ الكَرِيمُ

I say what you hear, and I ask forgiveness from God Almighty for me and for you, so ask forgiveness from Him and He will forgive you, for He is the Forgiving and Merciful, and pray to Him and He will answer you, for He is The noble righteousness

الحَمْدُ للَّهِ الَّذِي رَزَقَنَا الرَّاحَةَ فِي الوَطَنِ، وَجَعَلَهُ سَكَنًا وَأَيَّ سَكَنٍ، وَأَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ سَيِّدَنَا مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ، صَلاةً وَسَلامًا دَائِمَيْنِ إِلَى يَوْمِ الدِّينِ، وَعَلَى آلِهِ وَصَحْبِهِ الطَّيِّبِينَ الطَّاهِرِينَ، وَمَنْ تَبِعَهُمْ بِإِحْسَانٍ إِلَى يَوْمِ الدِّينِ

Praise be to ALLAH who has granted us comfort in our homeland, and made it a place of residence, and what a place of residence it is! I bear witness that there is no god but ALLAH alone, without partner, and I bear witness that our master Muhammad, peace be upon him, is His servant and messenger. May prayers and peace be upon him and upon his family and his pure and righteous companions, and upon those who follow them in goodness until the Day of Judgment.

O Muslims: Love of one's homeland is a commitment to justice, upon which the heavens and the earth were established. Color, homeland, or race are not justifications for anyone to oppress another. ALLAH Almighty says in Surah Al Nisa:

يَـٰٓأَيُّہَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ كُونُواْ قَوَّٲمِينَ بِٱلۡقِسۡطِ شُہَدَآءَ لِلَّهِ وَلَوۡ عَلَىٰٓ أَنفُسِكُمۡ

O you who believe! Stand out firmly for justice, as witnesses to Allâh,

Surah Al Nisa – 43-Part

Beware, O servants of ALLAH, of wronging a guest residing in the homeland, or a worker who has come to earn a lawful living, or an expatriate who has no support or helper except ALLAH. For wronging guests, visitors, and workers in the homeland is one of the most severe forms of disobedience to this homeland. Indeed, kindness, justice, and fairness towards everyone who lives in this country or passes through it - even for an hour of the day - is the best evidence of the goodness of this homeland, and the best image that is drawn in people’s minds about it. The Prophet, peace be upon him, said, “Support your brother, whether he is an oppressor or oppressed.” They said, “We support him when he is oppressed, but how do we support him when he is an oppressor?” He said, “By preventing him from committing oppression; that is how you support him.”

So fear ALLAH, O servants of ALLAH! be the best ambassadors for your country among the people, and teach your children and students to love their country, to defend it, to sacrifice for it, and to honor its people, its guests, and those who work for it. And be kind to them, for that is among the best things that the young learn and by which the nation rises. For the nation is nothing but its sons, with their good and pure hearts, their righteous and strong arms, and their sincere and pious prayers.

O servants of Allah, remember this command of ALLAH:

قُلۡ يَـٰعِبَادِىَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَسۡرَفُواْ عَلَىٰٓ أَنفُسِهِمۡ لَا تَقۡنَطُواْ مِن رَّحۡمَةِ ٱللَّهِ‌ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَغۡفِرُ ٱلذُّنُوبَ جَمِيعًا‌ۚ إِنَّهُ ۥ هُوَ ٱلۡغَفُورُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ

Say: "O 'Ibâdî (My slaves) who have transgressed against themselves (by committing evil deeds and sins)! Despair not of the Mercy of Allâh, verily Allâh forgives all sins. Truly, He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

Surah Az Zumr – 53

هَذَا وَصَلُّوا وَسَلِّمُوا عَلَى إمَامِ الْمُرْسَلِينَ؛ مُحَمَّدٍ الهَادِي الأَمِينِ، فَقَدْ أَمَرَكُمْ رَبكُمْ بذَلكَ حينَ قَالَ

إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ وَمَلَـٰٓٮِٕڪَتَهُ ۥ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى ٱلنَّبِىِّۚ يَـٰٓأَيُّہَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ صَلُّواْ عَلَيۡهِ وَسَلِّمُواْ تَسۡلِيمًا

Surah Al Ahzaab – 56

So pray and send peace upon the leader of the messengers, Muhammad, the guide and trustworthy. Your Lord has commanded you to do so when He said: “Indeed, Allah and His angels send blessings upon the Prophet. O you who have believed, send blessings upon him and salute him with a worthy salutation.” 

He says in Surah Al Ahzab: ALLAH and His kingdom send blessings upon the Prophet. O you who have believed, pray upon him and grant him peace.

Surah Al Ahzaab – 56

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ وسَلِّم عَلَى نَبِيِّنَا مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ نَبِيِّنَا مُحَمَّدٍ، كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ وسَلَّمتَ عَلَى نَبِيِّنَا إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلَى آلِ نَبِيِّنَا إِبْرَاهِيمَ، وَبَارِكْ عَلَى نَبِيِّنَا مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ نَبِيِّنَا مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلَى نَبِيِّنَا إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلَى آلِ نَبِيِّنَا إِبْرَاهِيمَ فِي الْعَالَمِينَ، إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ، وَارْضَ اللَّهُمَّ عَنْ خُلَفَائِهِ الرَّاشِدِينَ، وَعَنْ أَزْوَاجِهِ أُمَّهَاتِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَعَنْ سَائِرِ الصَّحَابَةِ أَجْمَعِينَ، وَعَنِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ، وعَنْ جَمْعِنَا هَذَا بِرَحْمَتِكَ يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ

O ALLAH, bless and grant peace upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon the family of our Prophet Muhammad, as You prayed and peace upon our Prophet Abraham and upon the family of our Prophet Abraham, and bless our Prophet Muhammad and the family of our Prophet Muhammad, just as You blessed our Prophet Abraham and the family of our Prophet Abraham in the worlds. Indeed, You are Praiseworthy and Glorious. And be pleased, O Allah, with his Rightly-Guided Caliphs, and with his wives, the Mothers of the Believers, and with all the rest of the Companions, and with the believing men and women, and with this gathering of ours, by Your mercy, O Most Merciful of the merciful.

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ جَمْعَنَا هَذَا جَمْعًا مَرْحُوْمًا، وَاجْعَلْ تَفَرُّقَنَا مِنْ بَعْدِهِ تَفَرُّقًا مَعْصُوْمًا وَلا تَدَعْ فِينَا وَلا مَعَنَا شَقِيًّا وَلا مَحْرُومًا

Oh ALLAH, make this gathering of us a merciful gathering, and make our separation after it an infallible separation, and do not leave among us or with us any wretched or deprived.

اللَّهُمَّ أَعِزَّ الإِسْلامَ وَاهْدِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ إِلَى الْحَقِّ، وَاجْمعْ كَلِمَتَهُمْ عَلَى الخَيْرِ، وَاكْسِرْ شَوْكَةَ الظَّالِمِينَ، وَاكْتُبِ السَّلامَ وَالأَمْنَ لِعِبادِكَ أَجْمَعِينَ

Oh ALLAH, honor Islam, guide Muslims to the truth, unite their words in goodness, break the power of the oppressors, and grant peace and security to your servants. All of them. 

اللَّهُمَّ كُنْ عَوْنًا لإِخْوَانِنَا فِي أَرْضِ الأَقْصَى المُبَارَكِ، وَكُنْ مَعَهُمْ وَثَبِّـتْهُمْ وَارْبِطْ عَلَى قُلُوبِهِمْ وَصَبِّرْهُمْ، وَاخْذُلْ عَدُوَّكَ وَعَدُوَّهُمْ، وَاجْعَلِ الدَّائِرَةَ عَلَيْهِ يَا ذَا الجَلالِ وَالإِكْرَامِ

O Allah, be a helper to our brothers in the blessed land of Al-Aqsa, be with them, strengthen them, strengthen their hearts, and grant them patience. Disappoint Your enemy and their enemy, and turn the tables on him, O Possessor of Majesty and Honor.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّا نَسْأَلُكَ الثَّباتَ فِي الأَمْرِ، وَالعَزِيمَةَ عَلَى الرُّشْدِ، ونَسْأَلُكَ شُكْرَ نِعْمَتِكَ، وَحُسْنَ عِبَادَتِكَ، ونَسْأَلُكَ قُلُوبًا سَلِيمةً وأَلْسِنةً صَادِقةً، ونَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ خَيْرِ مَا تَعْلَمُ، وَنعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا تَعْلَمُ وَنَسْتَغْفِرُكَ لِمَا تَعْلَمُ

O Allah, we ask You for steadfastness in our affairs and determination to do what is right. We ask You for gratitude for Your blessings and proper worship of You. We ask You for sound hearts and truthful tongues. We ask You for the best of what You know and seek refuge in You from the worst of what You know. We seek Your forgiveness for what You know.

اللَّهُمَّ يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ يَا ذَا الجَلالِ وَالإِكْرَامِ، لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ سُبْحَانَكَ بِكَ نَستَجِيرُ وَبِرَحْمَتِكَ نَستَغِيثُ أَلاَّ تَكِلَنَا إِلَى أَنفُسِنَا طَرفَةَ عَينٍ، وَلاَ أَدنَى مِنْ ذَلِكَ وَأَصلِحْ لَنَا شَأْنَنَا كُلَّهُ يَا مُصلِحَ شَأْنِ الصَّالِحِينَ

Oh ALLAH, O Ever-Living, O Ever-Living, O Possessor of Majesty and Honour, there is no god but You, Glory be to You, by You we seek refuge and by Your mercy we seek help, that you will not leave us to Our souls are within the blink of an eye, and nothing is closer than that. And rectify for us all our affairs, O Reconciliator, the affairs of the righteous.

اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا احْفَظْ أَوْطَانَنَا وَأَعِزَّ سُلْطَانَنَا وَأَيِّدْهُ بِالْحَقِّ وَأَيِّدْ بِهِ الْحَقَّ يَا رَبَّ العَالَمِينَ، اللَّهُمَّ أَسْبِغْ عَلَيْهِ نِعمَتَكَ، وَأَيِّدْهُ بِنُورِ حِكْمَتِكَ، وَسَدِّدْهُ بِتَوفِيقِكَ، وَاحفَظْهُ بِعَينِ رعَايَتِكَ

Oh ALLAH, our Lord, protect our countries, honor our authority, support it with the truth, and support it with the truth, O Lord of the worlds. Oh God, bestow your blessing upon him, Support it with the light of your wisdom, guide it with your blessings, and protect it with your care.

اللَّهُمَّ أَنْزِلْ عَلَيْنَا مِنْ بَرَكَاتِ السَّمَاء وَأَخْرِجْ لَنَا مِنْ خَيْرَاتِ الأَرْضِ، وَبَارِكْ لَنَا في ثِمَارِنَا وَزُرُوعِنَا وكُلِّ أَرزَاقِنَا يَا ذَا الْجَلالِ وَالإِكْرَامِ

O ALLAH, send down upon us from the blessings of the sky and bring forth for us from the goodness of the earth, and bless for us our fruits and our crops and all our provisions, O Possessor of Majesty and Generosity.

رَبَّنَا آتِنَا في الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفي الآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ

Our Lord, give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالمُؤْمِنَات، المُسْلِمِينَ وَالمُسْلِمَات، الأَحْيَاءِ مِنْهُمْ وَالأَمْوَاتِ، إِنَّكَ سَمِيعٌ قَرِيبٌ مُجِيبُ الدُّعَاءِ

O ALLAH, forgive the believing men and women, the Muslim men and women, the living and the dead among them. Indeed, You are the All-Hearing, the Near, the Answerer of supplications.

 إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَأۡمُرُ بِٱلۡعَدۡلِ وَٱلۡإِحۡسَـٰنِ وَإِيتَآىِٕ ذِى ٱلۡقُرۡبَىٰ وَيَنۡهَىٰ عَنِ ٱلۡفَحۡشَآءِ وَٱلۡمُنڪَرِ وَٱلۡبَغۡىِ‌ۚ يَعِظُكُمۡ لَعَلَّڪُمۡ تَذَكَّرُونَ

O servants of ALLAH - Indeed, ALLAH commands justice and good deeds, and bestows favor on relatives, and forbids indecency. And the denier and the transgressor admonish you that you may remember.

Surah An Nahl-90
