Holy Book Al Quran is the final Holy Book revealed upon the Last of Prophets Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH). The Quran & Sunnah is the only source of holy guidance as it entails detailed instructions for each and every walk of human life. Here a guidance from Quran for the followers of Islam” (عَوَائِدُ البَرامِجِ الصَّيْفِيَّةِ Summer program returns) is discussed wrt social life aspects such as Summer Vacations for better living from Quran and Hadith of Prophet ﷺ. This is an approved Jumma Khutba from the Sultanate of Oman and translated in English.

بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

عَوَائِدُ البَرامِجِ الصَّيْفِيَّةِ

Summer program returns

الحَمْدُ للهِ الَّذِي جَعَلَ الحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيا مَيْدَانًا لِلْأَعْمَالِ الصَّالِحَاتِ، وَجَعَلَ الآخِرَةَ جَزَاءً عَلَى‏ الحَسَنَاتِ، أَحْمَدُهُ وَهُوَ أهْلٌ لِأَنْ يُحْمَدَ بِأَجَلِّ المَحَامِدِ،‏ وَأَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إلَهَ إلّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ أَحْسَنُ الأَسْماءِ وَأَجْمَلُ وَأَكْمَلُ الصِّفَاتِ،‏ وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ سَيِّدَنَا مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ، المَبْعُوثُ بِأَكْمَلِ الرِّسَالَاتِ، عَلَيْهِ أفْضَلُ ‏ الصَّلَوَاتِ وَالتَّسْلِيمَاتِ، صَلَوَاتُ اللهِ وَسَلامُهُ عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَى آلِهِ وَصَحْبِهِ أُولِي الهِمَمِ العَالِيَاتِ، وَمَن سَارَ عَلَى دَرْبِهِمْ إِلَى يَوْمِ تُبَدَّلُ الأرْضُ غَيْرَ الأرْضِ وَالسَّمَاواتُ 

 أَمَّا بَعْدُ، فاعوذ باللہ من الشیطان الرجیم- بسم اللہ الرحمن الرحیم 

وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَٱتَّبَعَتۡہُمۡ ذُرِّيَّتُہُم بِإِيمَـٰنٍ أَلۡحَقۡنَا بِہِمۡ ذُرِّيَّتَہُمۡ وَمَآ أَلَتۡنَـٰهُم مِّنۡ عَمَلِهِم مِّن شَىۡءٍ۬‌ۚ كُلُّ ٱمۡرِىِٕۭ بِمَا كَسَبَ رَهِينٌ۬ 

Surah At Tur – 21

رَبِّ ٱشۡرَحۡ لِى صَدۡرِى. وَيَسِّرۡ لِىٓ أَمۡرِى- وَٱحۡلُلۡ عُقۡدَةً۬ مِّن لِّسَانِى- يَفۡقَهُواْ قَوۡلِى- آمین ثم آمین

Surah Taha – 25-28

Praise be to Allah Who made the life of this world a field of good deeds and made the Hereafter a reward for good deeds and He is worthy of praise. And I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, Alone, He has no partner, He has the best names and the most beautiful and perfect attributes. And I bear witness that Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, is the servant of God and His Messenger, he was sent with the best of messages. Blessings and peace be upon him, upon his family, companions, and those who followed him and until the Day of Judgment, when the earth and the heavens will be changed - the translation of the recited verse:

And those who believe and whose offspring follow them in Faith, to them shall We join their offspring, and We shall not decrease the reward of their deeds in anything. Every person is a pledge for that which he has earned. (21)

Surah At Tur – 21

O servants of Allah, fear Allah - adopt piety and obey Allah. Know that a person in his youth is more capable of carrying out difficult tasks and missions than he can do at any other stage of life. On the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Mas’ud, may Allah be pleased with him, the Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “The foot of the son of Adam will not move from it on the Day of Resurrection, unless he is asked about five things: his life; About and how did he spend it? Youth and how he used it, about his wealth, where he earned it and what he spent it on, and what he did with it.

O believers, it is among the blessings of Allah Almighty upon us in this blessed country that good people organize all kinds of science and learning programs during the summer holidays, called ‘summer programs’. Among them are preparing various schools for teaching and memorizing the Holy Quran, repeating some of its sciences, and organizing seminars in some masaajid and universities. And yes, those who have been blessed by Allah Almighty with various curricular and extra-curricular expertise are requested to participate in these programs and schools as much time as they can. And those whom Allah Ta'ala has extended in their sustenance, they are asked to increase their support with charity and endowment for such welfare projects that will bring public benefit to the society. Allah Ta'ala says in Surah Muzamal:

وَأَقۡرِضُواْ ٱللَّهَ قَرۡضًا حَسَنً۬ا‌ۚ وَمَا تُقَدِّمُواْ لِأَنفُسِكُم مِّنۡ خَيۡرٍ۬ تَجِدُوهُ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ هُوَ خَيۡرً۬ا وَأَعۡظَمَ أَجۡرً۬ا‌ۚ

and lend to Allâh a goodly loan, And whatever good you send before you for yourselves, (i.e. Nawâfil non-obligatory acts of worship: prayers, charity, fasting, Hajj and 'Umrah), you will certainly find it with Allâh, better and greater in reward.

Surah Al Muzzammil – 20-Part

Our blessed youth: No doubt, after your tireless efforts and work hard in studies during the past academic year, you are longing for a time when you can rest your heart and relax yourselves. From, ALLAH Almighty, there is no harm in entertaining yourself with the activities and programs permitted for you, emphasizing your desire to focus on the Book of Allah with understanding, skill and good application of your souls to their Creator. Provide decent who sent light and guidance to people. Allah Ta'ala says in Surah Al-Asra:

إِنَّ هَـٰذَا ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ يَہۡدِى لِلَّتِى هِىَ أَقۡوَمُ وَيُبَشِّرُ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ ٱلَّذِينَ يَعۡمَلُونَ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ أَنَّ لَهُمۡ أَجۡرً۬ا كَبِيرً۬ا

Verily, this Qur'ân guides to that which is most just and right and gives glad tidings to the believers (in the Oneness of Allâh and His Messenger, Muhammad SAW). who work deeds of righteousness, that they shall have a great reward (Paradise). (9) 

Surah Al Isra – 9

Allah says in another place in Surat Yunus:

يَـٰٓأَيُّہَا ٱلنَّاسُ قَدۡ جَآءَتۡكُم مَّوۡعِظَةٌ۬ مِّن رَّبِّڪُمۡ وَشِفَآءٌ۬ لِّمَا فِى ٱلصُّدُورِ وَهُدً۬ى وَرَحۡمَةٌ۬ لِّلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ

O mankind! There has come to you a good advice from your Lord (i.e. the Qur'an, enjoining all that is good and forbidding all that is evil), and a healing for that (disease of ignorance, doubt, hypocrisy and differences,) Which is in your breasts, - a guidance and a mercy (explaining lawful and unlawful things) for the believers. (57) Surah Younus – 57

The care and upbringing of Allah's servants, sons and daughters is a great trust which Allah Almighty has declared as one of the tasks of teachers. He said in Surah Al-Tahreem:

يَـٰٓأَيُّہَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ قُوٓاْ أَنفُسَكُمۡ وَأَهۡلِيكُمۡ نَارً۬ا 

O you who believe! Ward off from yourselves and your families against a Fire (Hell)

Surah At Tahrim – 6-Part

Every teacher wants to give a good education to the person he is educating. He may be one of those who have followed the path of righteous people in his life, or one of the successful leaders, or one of the innovators appointed in the fields he nurtured. He should raise the status of his nation and the flag of his country, and this is not without sacrifice, focus and wholeheartedness so that man can achieve what he wants.

O you who believe, fear Allah - and cooperate with one another in that which Allah and His Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) are pleased with, and for your children to go out in summer. Develop activities that will benefit them, and that will benefit them in this world and the Hereafter.

أقولُ مَا تَسْمَعُونَ، وَأَسْتَغْفِرُ اللهَ العَظِيمَ لِي وَلَكُمْ، فَاسْتَغْفِرُوهُ يَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ، إِنَّهُ هُوَ الغَفُورُالرَّحِيمُ، وَادْعُوهُ يَسْتَجِبْ لَكُمْ، إِنَّهُ هُوَ البَرُّ الكَرِيمُ

Say this, I ask forgiveness from Allah for me and you, so ask Him for forgiveness and He will forgive you. He is the Forgiving, the Merciful. And call upon Him and He will answer you, for He is generous in righteousness.

   الحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الْفَتَّاحِ الْعَلِيمِ، الْوَهَّابِ الْكَرِيمِ، أَحَمْدُهُ تَعَالَى عَلَى عَطَائِهِ العَمِيمِ، وَأَشْكُرُهُ عَلَى كَرَمِهِ الْعَظِيمِ، وَأَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إلَه إلّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ الرَّؤُوفُ الرَّحِيمُ، وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ‏ سَيِّدَنَا‏ وَنَبِيَّنَا مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ، النَّبِيُّ الطَّاهِرُ الصَّادِقُ القَوِيُّ الأَمِينُ، صَلَّى اللهُ وَسَلَّمَ‏ عَلَيهِ‏ وَعَلَى آلهِ الطَّيِّبِينَ، وَصَحَابَتِهِ الْمَيَامِينِ، وَمَنْ تَبِعَهُمْ بِإحْسَانٍ إِلَى يَوْمِ الدِّينِ.‏ 

All praises are to Allah, the Victorious, the All-Knowing, the Most-Giving, I praise Him, for His innumerable blessings, and I thank Him for His great generosity, and I bear witness that there is no god but Allah. He has no partner, I bear witness that our master and the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, is his servant and messenger. Peace be upon him, on the followers and whoever will follow him until the Day of Resurrection.

O servants of Allah, fear Allah. Therefore, make sure students take advantage of science and learning programs during their vacations, and don’t leave them helpless and careless to harm that is useless; Irresponsible use of social platforms on electronic devices of communication, such as mobile phones and laptop computers, poses unlimited risks, affecting a child’s health, thinking and behavioral integrity, and values and identity, which Black Creates risks such as mailing or misbehavior.

Teach your children that life and time is a great responsibility, so that they make the best use of it and reap its fruits and blessings in their lives and in their hereafter.

Following are some verses of Surah Luqman about admonishing children.

وَإِذْ قَالَ لُقْمَانُ لِابْنِهِ وَهُوَ يَعِظُهُ يَا بُنَيَّ لَا تُشْرِكْ بِاللَّهِ إِنَّ الشِّرْكَ لَظُلْمٌ عَظِيمٌ

And (remember) when Luqmân said to his son when he was advising him: "O my son! Join not in worship others with Allâh. Verily! Joining others in worship with Allâh is a great Zûlm (wrong) indeed. Surah Luqman (13)

وَوَصَّيْنَا الْاِنسان بِوَالِدَيْهِ حَمَلَتْهُ أُمُّهُ وَهْنًا عَلَى وَهْنٍ وَفِصَالُهُ فِي عَامَيْنِ أَنِ اشْكُرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيْكَ إِلَيَّ الْمَصِيرُ

And We have enjoined on man (to be dutiful and good) to his parents. His mother bore him in weakness and hardship upon weakness and hardship, and his weaning is in two years — give thanks to Me and to your parents, unto Me is the final destination. Surah Luqman (14)

وَ إِن جَاهَدَاكَ عَلى أَن تُشْرِكَ بِي مَا لَيْسَ لَكَ بِهِ عِلْمٌ فَلَا تُطِعْهُمَا وَصَاحِبْهُمَا فِي الدُّنْيَا مَعْرُوفاً وَاتَّبِعْ سَبِيلَ مَنْ أَنَابَ إِلَيَّ ثُمَّ إِلَيَّ مَرْجِعُكُمْ فَأُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ

But if they (both) strive with you to make you join in worship with Me others that of which you have no knowledge, then obey them not, but behave with them in the world kindly, and follow the path of him who turns to Me in repentance and in obedience. Then to Me will be your return, and I shall tell you what you used to do. Surah Luqman (15)

يَا بُنَيَّ إِنَّهَا إِن تَكُ مِثْقَالَ حَبَّةٍ مِّنْ خَرْدَلٍ فَتَكُن فِي صَخْرَةٍ أَوْ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ أَوْ فِي الْأَرْضِ يَأْتِ بِهَا اللَّهُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَطِيفٌ خَبِيرٌ

"O my son! If it be (anything) equal to the weight of a grain of mustard seed, and though it be in a rock, or in the heavens or in the earth, Allâh will bring it forth. Verily, Allâh is Subtle (in bringing out that grain), Well¬Aware (of its place). Surah Luqman (16)

يَا بُنَيَّ أَقِمِ الصَّلَاةَ وَأْمُرْ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَانْهَ عَنِ الْمُنكَرِ وَاصْبِرْ عَلَى مَا أَصَابَكَ إِنَّ ذَلِكَ مِنْ عَزْمِ الْأُمُورِ

"O my son! Aqim¬As¬Salât (perform As¬Salât), enjoin (on people) Al¬Ma'rûf (Islâmic Monotheism and all that is good), and forbid (people) from Al¬Munkar (i.e. disbelief in the Oneness of Allâh, polytheism of all kinds and all that is evil and bad), and bear with patience whatever befalls you. Verily, these are some of the important commandments (ordered by Allâh with no exemption). Surah Luqman (17)

وَلَا تُصَعِّرْ خَدَّكَ لِلنَّاسِ وَلَا تَمْشِ فِي الْأَرْضِ مَرَحًا إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ كُلَّ مُخْتَالٍ فَخُورٍ

"And turn not your face away from men with pride, nor walk in insolence through the earth. Verily, Allâh likes not any arrogant boaster. Surah Luqman (18)

وَاقْصِدْ فِي مَشْيِكَ وَاغْضُضْ مِن صَوْتِكَ إِنَّ أَنكَرَ الْأَصْوَاتِ لَصَوْتُ الْحَمِيرِ

"And be moderate (or show no insolence) in your walking, and lower your voice. Verily, the harshest of all voices is the braying of the ass." Surah Luqman (19)

يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ اتَّقُوا رَبَّكُمْ وَاخْشَوْا يَوْمًا لَّا يَجْزِي وَالِدٌ عَن وَلَدِهِ وَلَا مَوْلُودٌ هُوَ جَازٍ عَن وَالِدِهِ شَيْئًا إِنَّ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقٌّ فَلَا تَغُرَّنَّكُمُ الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا وَلَا يَغُرَّنَّكُم بِاللَّهِ الْغَرُورُ O إِنَّ اللَّهَ عِندَهُ عِلْمُ السَّاعَةِ وَيُنَزِّلُ الْغَيْثَ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا فِي الْأَرْحَامِ وَمَا تَدْرِي نَفْسٌ مَّاذَا تَكْسِبُ غَدًا وَمَا تَدْرِي نَفْسٌ بِأَيِّ أَرْضٍ تَمُوتُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ خَبِيرٌ

O mankind! Be afraid of your Lord (by keeping your duty to Him and avoiding all evil), and fear a Day when no father can avail aught for his son, nor a son avail aught for his father. Verily, the Promise of Allâh is true, let not then this (worldly) present life deceive you, nor let the chief deceiver (Satan) deceive you about Allâh. (33) Verily, Allâh! With Him (Alone) is the knowledge of the Hour, He sends down the rain, and knows that which is in the wombs. No person knows what he will earn tomorrow, and no person knows in what land he will die. Verily, Allâh is All¬Knower, All¬Aware (of things). Surah Luqman (34)

هَذَا وَصَلُّوا وَسَلِّمُوا عَلَى إمَامِ الْمُرْسَلِينَ؛ مُحَمَّدٍ الهَادِي الأَمِينِ، فَقَدْ أَمَرَكُمْ رَبكُمْ بذَلكَ حينَ قَالَ

إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ وَمَلَـٰٓٮِٕڪَتَهُ ۥ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى ٱلنَّبِىِّۚ يَـٰٓأَيُّہَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ صَلُّواْ عَلَيۡهِ وَسَلِّمُواْ تَسۡلِيمًا

Surah Al Ahzaab – 56

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ وسَلِّم عَلَى نَبِيِّنَا مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ نَبِيِّنَا مُحَمَّدٍ، كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ وسَلَّمتَ عَلَى نَبِيِّنَا إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلَى آلِ نَبِيِّنَا إِبْرَاهِيمَ، وَبَارِكْ عَلَى نَبِيِّنَا مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ نَبِيِّنَا مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلَى نَبِيِّنَا إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلَى آلِ نَبِيِّنَا إِبْرَاهِيمَ فِي الْعَالَمِينَ، إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ، وَارْضَ اللَّهُمَّ عَنْ خُلَفَائِهِ الرَّاشِدِينَ، وَعَنْ أَزْوَاجِهِ أُمَّهَاتِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَعَنْ سَائِرِ الصَّحَابَةِ أَجْمَعِينَ، وَعَنِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ، وعَنْ جَمْعِنَا هَذَا بِرَحْمَتِكَ يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ جَمْعَنَا هَذَا جَمْعًا مَرْحُوْمًا، وَاجْعَلْ تَفَرُّقَنَا مِنْ بَعْدِهِ تَفَرُّقًا مَعْصُوْمًا وَلا تَدَعْ فِينَا وَلا مَعَنَا شَقِيًّا وَلا مَحْرُومًا

اللَّهُمَّ أَعِزَّ الإِسْلامَ وَاهْدِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ إِلَى الْحَقِّ، وَاجْمعْ كَلِمَتَهُمْ عَلَى الخَيْرِ، وَاكْسِرْ شَوْكَةَ الظَّالِمِينَ، وَاكْتُبِ السَّلامَ وَالأَمْنَ لِعِبادِكَ أَجْمَعِينَ 

اللَّهُمَّ يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ يَا ذَا الجَلالِ وَالإِكْرَامِ، لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ سُبْحَانَكَ بِكَ نَستَجِيرُ وَبِرَحْمَتِكَ نَستَغِيثُ أَلاَّ تَكِلَنَا إِلَى أَنفُسِنَا طَرفَةَ عَينٍ، وَلاَ أَدنَى مِنْ ذَلِكَ وَأَصلِحْ لَنَا شَأْنَنَا كُلَّهُ يَا مُصلِحَ شَأْنِ الصَّالِحِينَ

اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا احْفَظْ أَوْطَانَنَا وَأَعِزَّ سُلْطَانَنَا وَأَيِّدْهُ بِالْحَقِّ وَأَيِّدْ بِهِ الْحَقَّ يَا رَبَّ العَالَمِينَ، اللَّهُمَّ أَسْبِغْ عَلَيْهِ نِعمَتَكَ، وَأَيِّدْهُ بِنُورِ حِكْمَتِكَ، وَسَدِّدْهُ بِتَوفِيقِكَ، وَاحفَظْهُ بِعَينِ رعَايَتِكَ

اللَّهُمَّ أَنْزِلْ عَلَيْنَا مِنْ بَرَكَاتِ السَّمَاء وَأَخْرِجْ لَنَا مِنْ خَيْرَاتِ الأَرْضِ، وَبَارِكْ لَنَا في ثِمَارِنَا وَزُرُوعِنَا وكُلِّ أَرزَاقِنَا يَا ذَا الْجَلالِ وَالإِكْرَامِ

رَبَّنَا آتِنَا في الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفي الآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالمُؤْمِنَات، المُسْلِمِينَ وَالمُسْلِمَات، الأَحْيَاءِ مِنْهُمْ وَالأَمْوَاتِ، إِنَّكَ سَمِيعٌ قَرِيبٌ مُجِيبُ الدُّعَاءِ

عِبَادَ الله إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَأۡمُرُ بِٱلۡعَدۡلِ وَٱلۡإِحۡسَـٰنِ وَإِيتَآىِٕ ذِى ٱلۡقُرۡبَىٰ وَيَنۡهَىٰ عَنِ ٱلۡفَحۡشَآءِ وَٱلۡمُنڪَرِ وَٱلۡبَغۡىِ‌ۚ يَعِظُكُمۡ لَعَلَّڪُمۡ تَذَكَّرُونَ

بے شک الله انصاف کرنے کا اوربھلائی کرنے کا اور رشتہ داروں کو دینے کا حکم کرتا ہے اوربے حیائی اوربری بات اور ظلم سے منع کرتا ہے تمہیں سمجھاتا ہے تاکہ تم سمجھو

Surah An Nahl-90

اللہ تعالیٰ سے دعا ہے کہ، ہمیں احکامات الہیہ کو جاننے، سمجھنے اور ان پر عمل کرنے اور اپنے اہل و اعیال اور اعزا و اقارب کو ان اعمال میں شامل ہونے کی ترغیب کی توفیق عطا فرمائیں. آمین ثم آمین
