Christmas is celebrated across the globe on 25th December. USA is also Christian dominated country and so the Christmas is also an official holiday season in USA. This write up is to say Merry Christmas to all Christians across the globe and especially to Every Day Americans.

My Dear Every Day Americans; Merry Christmas! Its 25 December, the birthday of Prophet Jesus (Essa AS) and so many of You USA's citizens are devote Christians and this day signifies the religious and cultural sanctity of the day. One hopes that this blog will find You all in best of health and moods; after all, it's Christmas Times. Merry Christmas Day to all the Christians across the globe and especially to every day Americans.

The people like this writer has lived all the life in a underdeveloped country has heard and read about " American Dream" and a great country associated with the dream called United States of America. An ordinary citizen in our part of world takes "The American Dream" as a phrase for freedom, liberty, democracy and equality to succeed and attain a better life and upward mobility. We watched Hollywood Movie Series like "How the West Was Won" with enthusiasm and anticipation and many heroes and heroines became house hold names.

We believed that American dream has prompted and elevated all her citizens to be the ideal citizen of the USA having equal opportunity to achieve success and prosperity through hard work, determination, and initiative. This became our motto for our democracy. But then, came new century, new millennium and every thing changed so suddenly. Today, USA is conveying threatening messages and supporting non democratic forces, which is only tarnishing feel good images of once a great country, USA. USA was and is a great country and can still be in future, if people like YOU; Every Day Americans retain yours past glory and precedents as you were role models for under developed country citizens.

Now let me narrate you some thing from yours own history. Norman Rockwell was an American painter and illustrator, who works were a popular appeal in the USA due to their reflection of the country's culture. Rockwell was most famous for the cover illustrations of everyday life he created for The Saturday Evening Post magazine over nearly five decades. He was so skilled(gifted) in capturing moments in every aspect of the paintings from clothing, facial expressions and all the little details.

Norman Rockwell was able to capture the the emotions of the people in his paintings, always optimistic, sometimes humorous, a world many of us still live in our part of world; but one wished that USA people are now living is terrible; it has changed a lot. He was able to capture the spirit of what it was like to be just an ordinary every day citizen of America. Sometimes thoughtful, often times humorous. His paintings were snapshots of ordinary things involving ordinary people in USA could all relate to. Back when The Saturday Evening Post was one of the most popular products of its time, his paintings would grace the covers and were loved by millions.

The Title Picture above is from Google and it shows an image of an American Family celebrating Christmas Day. This image refers to a situation when a close family member; a young man returns homes right at the time when the family is in the midst of Christmas Day Celebrations. This image may stir up many Americans' memories of when some of there sons in Vietnam may have showed up on 25th December Evening. Merry Christmas! What a grateful, happy Christmas that would be. Do You know, we still have such celebrations in our part of world, like A surprise arrival on Eid Day, a Muslim's Celebration equivalent to Christmas.

Every loving human being of USA may alive the spirit of humane phenomenon exhibited in Norman Rockwell museum. Rockwell was the chronicler of an America now lost'; but each American must not lose that treasure which is called American Dream.
