You have magic in your hands: آپ کے ہاتھوں میں جادو ہے

بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

آپ کے ہاتھوں میں جادو ہے

ایک عربی کہاوت ہے؛ "لو أن إمرأة نقلت جبلاً وقيل لها سلمت يداك لزال تعبها" جس کے معنی ہیں کہ 

اگر کوئی عورت پہاڑ توڑ کر دوسری جگہ منتقل کر دے اور اسے صرف اتنا کہہ دیا جائے کہ "تیرے ہاتھ سلامت رہیں" تو اسکی تھکاوٹ ختم ہو جاتی ہے۔ 

یہ بات محض ایک عرب کہاوت نہیں ہے؛ اور نہ ہی کسی ایک مخصوص تہزیب سے متعلق ہے؛ بلکہ یہ انسانی شخصیت کے نفسیات کی بہترین عکاسی ہے۔ تعریف کئے جانا ہم انسانوں کا پسندیدہ عمل ہے۔ جس طرح ہم یہ جانتے ہیں کہ "محبت کرنا اور چاہا جانا " ایک وسیع پیمانے پر تسلیم شدہ جبلتی جذبہ ہے جو تعلق اور جذباتی تکمیل کی بنیادی انسانی خواہش کا اظہار کرتا ہے؛ یہ خوشی اور تعلق کے احساس کی نشاندہی کرتا ہے جو کسی کی تعریف کرنے اور خود اپنے لیے تعریف حاصل کرنے سے حاصل ہوتا ہے، اور اس سے گرمجوشی اور اعتماد کے احساس کو فروغ ملتا ہے۔

ہم جس دنیا میں رہتے ہیں؛ وہاں چولہا ہانڈی ہماری خواتین کرتی ہیں۔ گھر میں کوئی جشن ہو؛ تہوار ہو یا خوشی کا کوئی بھی موقع ہو انکی ایک ہی مصروفیات رہتی ہیں؛ گھر والوں اور مہمانوں کے لیے متنوع اقسام کے کھابے بنانا۔ اور کیا کیا پکوان نہیں ہوتا جو ہماری مائیں بہنیں ، بیوی اور بیٹیاں ہمارے لیے دسترخوان پر نہیں سجاتی ہیں؟ یہ کام معمولی نہیں ہوتا؛ بہت سی محنت اور محبت ہوتی ہی جس سے تیار ہوتے ہیں یہ اہتمام؛ اور سجنتے ہیں ہمارے دستر خوان۔ 

ہمارے یہاں اکثر کہا جاتا ہے ک شادی سے پہلے کے کانگڑی پہلوان ؛ اپنی نئی نویلی دلہن کے پکوان سے پہلوان ہوجاتے ہیں اور توندیں نکل آتی ہیں؛اور اس کی کوئی اور وجہ نہیں ہوتی بلکہ وہ محبت ہوتی ہے جس سے دلہن اپنے پیا کے گھر آکر اپنے سجن کے کھانے پکاتی ہے؛ اور ناز سے کھلاتی ہے۔ پیار اور ناز نخرہ وزن نہ بڑھائے تو بندہ بیمار ہوتا ہے۔ اگر ہم اس قدر محبت اور الفت کے لیے شکر گزار نہ ہوں اور تعریف میں کنجوسی کریں تو گھر کا ماحول ہی خراب کریں گے۔ ہماری زمین کے لوگ اس معاملے میں زیادہ فراخ دل نہیں ہوتے؛ چنانچہ اکثر گھر سے باہر منہ سجائے پھرتے ہیں۔

عزیزانِ گرامی قدر؛ یہ عیدالاضحی کا موقع ہے؛ اور قربانی کا دن ہے۔ گھروں میں گوشت ہے اور باورچی خانے میں ہماری خواتین؛ چولہے دہک رہے ہیں کہ کھانے پک رہے ہیں۔ اور مہینہ جون کا ہے؛ ہائے پسینہ اور گرمی!۔ مگر داد تو بنتی ہے کہ وہ ہمت نہیں ہارتیں اورعشائیہ میں دسترخوان خوب سجا دیتی ہیں؛ جسے سارا خاندان خوش ہوکے کھاتا ہے۔ اور ڈکار مارتا سو جاتا ہے۔ کیا یہ عید کے دن کا مناسب اختتام ہے؟

اگر ہم مرد حضرات دسترخوان پر اپنی خواتین سے یہ کہہ دیں "آپکے ہاتھوں میں جادو ہے"؛ "کیا شاندار دسترخوان سجایا ہے" تو یقین کیجیے کہ وہ جی اٹھیں گی؛ مسکرائیں گی اور گرمی اور پسینہ کے ہاتھوں ٹوٹتے جسم کی تھکاوٹ ختم ہوجائے گی۔ تو بسم اللہ؛ شروع ہوجائیے؛ ما بدولت تو ایک عرصے سے ایسا کررہا ہے؛ اور نتائج شاندار ہیں۔ عید خوشی کا موقع ہے اور اپنی مسرتوں کو وسعت دیجیے۔ اللہ تعالی ہمارا حامی و ناصر ہو؛ آمین ثم آمین۔ #عيد_الأضحى_المبارك

There is an Arabic proverb; "لو أن إمرأة نقلت جبلاً وقيل لها سلمت يداك لزال تعبها"; which means that

"If a woman were to move a mountain and someone simply said to her, 'May your hands be safe,' her fatigue would disappear."

This proverb highlights how much women value appreciation and kind words, to the extent that even the greatest exhaustion can be eased by a small gesture of gratitude.

This is not just an Arab proverb; nor is it related to any particular culture or region; rather, it is a perfect reflection of the psychology of the human personality. Being appreciated is a favorite act of us humans. Just as we know that “to love and be loved” is a widely recognized instinctual emotion that expresses the basic human desire for belonging and emotional fulfillment; It signifies the feeling of happiness and belonging that comes from appreciating someone and receiving appreciation for oneself, and it promotes a sense of warmth and confidence.

In the world we live in; our women do the cooking. Be it a celebration at home; be it a festival or any other occasion of joy, our women folk have the same routine; making various types of dishes for family and guests. And what wow dishes are there that our mothers, sisters, wives and daughters do not arrange on the table for us? This work is not trivial; it takes a lot of hard work and love to prepare these arrangements; and decorate our tables with delicious foods.

It is often said here that single skeleton type men before marriage; become well fed by eating their newlywed bride's dishes and their belly comes out; and there is no other reason for this, but the love with which the bride comes to her groom's house and cooks food for her husband; and feeds him with love. If love and care one receives; do not increase weight, the man may be ill. If we are not grateful for so much love and affection and are stingy in appreciation, we will only spoil the atmosphere of the house. The people of our land are not very generous in this matter; therefore, they often go out of the house with their faces decorated.

Dear friends; This is the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha; and the day of sacrifice. There is lot of meat in the houses and our women in the kitchen; the stoves are burning and the food is cooking. Remember that it is the month of June; and Oh, the sweat and the heat! But it is admirable that our women folk do not lose heart and sets a beautiful table for dinner; which the whole family eats happily. And falls asleep burping. Is this a fitting end to the Eid day?

If we men say to our women at the dinning table, "You have magic in your hands"; "What a wonderful table you have set," then be sure that they will feel elevated; they will smile and the fatigue of their bodies, which are breaking down due to heat and sweat, will disappear. So, in the name of Allah; let's start; Myself has been doing this for a long time; and the results are wonderful. Eid is an occasion of joy and expand your joys.
