Trinbago Knight Riders vs Saint Lucia Kings - Caribbean Premier League 17th Match 2026

The 17th match of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2026 will see Trinbago Knight Riders take on St Lucia Kings on August 26, 2026. The match is scheduled for 7:00 PM local time at the Brian Lara Stadium, Tarouba, Trinidad.

Trinbago Knight Riders will be looking to bounce back after consecutive defeats against Jamaica Kingsmen and Antigua & Barbuda Falcons. Despite those setbacks, TKR have shown strong overall form and possess a powerful batting lineup featuring Nicholas Pooran, Kieron Pollard and Alex Hales, along with experienced all-rounders and bowlers such as Sunil Narine and Usman Tariq.

St Lucia Kings enter the contest after beating Jamaica Kingsmen by six wickets in their most recent match. Their batting unit will rely heavily on Tim Seifert, Kamil Pooran and captain Roston Chase, while Matthew Forde, Joshua Bishop and Maheesh Theekshana provide important bowling options.

The match should be closely contested, with TKR holding the advantage in recent head-to-head results while the Kings have the momentum of a recent victory. The Brian Lara Stadium is hosting TKR’s home fixtures during this stretch of the CPL season.
