The Sisterhood Solidarity
Sisterhood is the relationship between sisters with same blood lines and may also be an association, or community of women linked by a common interest, religion, or trade and in these modern times "much of sisterhood may be about sharing lipsticks." A sister is a woman or a girl who shares parents or a parent with another individual; a female sibling.
Sisterhood is a bond that goes beyond being family. It connects women to each other and in its most magical manifestations, allows each woman in the sisterhood to thrive in ways she could never do on her own. Sisterhood provides a safe space for your truest self to emerge. Genuine sisterhood is the capacity to truly be there for another without expecting anything in return. To rest into the raw, sacred, vulnerable power of being a woman and witness the same in another without feeling inadequate. True sisterhood is the capacity to greatly honor one and another. Sisterhood is about to hold and be held.
Within sisterhood, women can share their vulnerabilities, fears, and struggles without fear of judgment or shame. Through empathy, compassion, and mutual support, sisterhood fosters a culture of healing and resilience where women can find solace, strength, and validation. It means you have a built-in best friend all your life. Sisters are proud of each each. They celebrate each other's victories as if they were their own. A sister will share your disappointments and dry your tears when you hurt because your pain is her too.
To be sisters implies that there is an unbreakable bond between them. Sisters take care of each other, watch out for each other, comfort each other, and are there for each other through thick and thin. In between the sisters there will always be a "Big Sister;" “A big sister is someone who will always have your back, no matter what.” “Having a big sister is like having a built-in best friend for life.” “Big sisters are like superheroes, always there to save the day.” “Being a big sister is a privilege and a responsibility, and I wouldn't trade it for anything.” The band of sisterhood revolves around a big sister or self sacrificing other souls.
The concept of sisterhood in feminism stands for solidarity and mutual support between women. It has emerged from the notion of a close, intimate connection and gone through changes and criticism throughout history with the development of feminist movements and the expansion of the concept of womanhood.

The bond between sisters is more than blood—
It’s a glance that understands without words,
A hand reaching out when storms roll in,
A shared warmth in the coldest nights.
Sisters are songs sung deep within the heart,
Whispers of protection in a world that forgets to be kind.
When one falls, the other doesn't ask why—
She simply sits beside her,
Waiting quietly for strength to return.
They grow together,
Sharing scars and small dreams,
Lighting hope in one another
And learning to be strong without losing softness.
Some love has no name—
The love between sisters is one of those things.
Like wind and wing,
Like soil and root,
Wherever they are, they are woven together.
For a woman's heart knows how to hold,
And sisterhood—
Is the thread that never breaks.

"We Dance as One"
We spin with the wind,
our braids trailing feathers,
our dresses painted in autumn—
gold of the harvest,
green of the forest.
We dance upon the earth,
our feet the drums,
our laughter the song,
our breath a prayer to the ancestors.
We carry their stories in our steps,
their strength in our turning,
their spirit in the rhythm
that binds us to this land.
We are sisters,
but more than that—
we are the heartbeat of our people,
we are the flame that will not die.
When we dance,
we are not two—
we are all,
and all are within us.
"The Sacred Call of Sisterhood" From FB Page "Indigenous Wisdom Past"
The Sacred Call of Sisterhood
O daughters of the Earth,
your bond is not of blood,
but of an ancient dream
whispered before words were born.
Sisters — you are feathers fallen
from the wings of the Great Eagle,
heartbeats echoing
within the chest of Mother Mountain.
None above, none below,
you are the circle —
without beginning, without end.
You are the prayer fire carried
from hand to hand in the dark.
When one bends before the wind,
the Four Directions lean in to steady her.
When one is silent in sorrow,
nine stars descend to sing her grief.
Remember this:
It is not blood that makes you sisters,
but how you lift each other
through storm and stillness,
how one heart quiets
to hear another’s ache.
Sit close,
in this life or the next.
Pass the song like flame
across the dry branches of time.
One fire may warm a stone,
but four —
can summon the dawn.
