Cdr. M Asif Raza(R) said, When the people of East and West Pakistan stopped loving each other and abandoned their common values, then the enemy got the chance to increase their hatred. A war was started during the rule of Quaid e Azam on the national language. Quaid e Azam said that our national language will be Urdu, history has shown that Urdu should be the national language because this language is spoken in both countries. The Urdu language is the language of Muslims in India, this language was called because when the British left India, there was a movement in which the Hindus said that Urdu is the language of Muslims. At the same time, the Bengali language is the language of a large area of India, but the Bengali language was not easy that can be understood by everyone, only the Urdu language connects these two, all the riots will start bitter and the name of Bengal will be bitter, Bengali should be the national language. Kolkata was the capital of India and there was a port there, Kolkata was the center of trade where the British came, and at that time Kolkata was in Bengal. The British set up an organization in Portwillaim and hired people from India to write novels. In the Urdu civilization, there are many poets born like Bhadra Shah Zafar, who was the last king of India and wrote his poetry in the Urdu language. All the riots happened when the Quaid e Azam said that the national language of Pakistan should be Urdu, Then, on the other hand, a large part of the population of Bengal belonged to Hindus. When the emigration was completed in 1951, 95% of Pakistan was Muslim and 5% were Hindus, but in Bengal, 30% were Hindus, and intellectuals were more among these Hindus, In Pakistan, people migrated from East Punjab to West Punjab, from West Punjab to East Punjab but in Bengal, there was no migration. Those who were Hindus in Bengal were intellectuals and rich and started teaching in schools, colleges, and universities in Bengal, the hatred against Pakistan increased in the minds of these Hindu Bengalis. The Pakistanis who instilled hatred in the hearts of the Bengalis benefited the Hindus a lot. Bengal is also called the land of rivers. After a few times, floods occurred in Bengal due to rivers, Bengal did not have any fertile lands, so partisans were produced there. When Pakistan was created, there was no industry in both East or West Pakistan. The British left both areas deprived of industry. Pakistan had fertile lands and a good canal system due to which Pakistan was better than Bengal. Finally, Cdr. M Asif Raza(R) said, Today we all know that Bengal's GDP is better than Pakistan's, and Bengal's economy is better than ours. This is why it was known that the people of this country were hardworking, they know how to work for their country and people. Instead of hating them, we should have seen what they are good at, and better ourselves in this matter. If they had invested in them there, they would have been better, and if they had made development separately, we would have been separate and we could have lived as one nation.
