A Chilling Horror Experience of Suspicion and Survival

that's not my neighbor is a psychological horror game that puts players in the tense role of a doorman in a 1955 apartment building. Your main duty is to ensure the safety of the residents—but there’s a horrifying catch. Doppelgangers, eerie impostors that look exactly like the tenants, are trying to infiltrate the building, and it’s up to you to spot them before it’s too late.

Gameplay and Atmosphere

Set in a gloomy, noir-inspired environment, the game captures the fear of not knowing who to trust. Players must verify documents, observe faces closely, and detect strange behaviors that could expose a doppelganger in disguise. Each interaction is filled with anxiety, as one wrong decision could invite danger inside.

The art style, reminiscent of hand-drawn vintage cartoons, enhances the unsettling 1950s atmosphere. Combined with haunting sound effects and an eerie background score, the experience keeps players on edge from start to finish.

Why It Stands Out

Unlike typical horror games that rely on jump scares, That’s Not My Neighbor thrives on psychological tension and observation-based gameplay. It challenges players to trust their instincts, sharpen their attention to detail, and confront the fear of the unknown. Every knock at the door could be a resident—or something far more sinister.
