Thailand Women vs Hong Kong Women — Women’s Twenty20 Asia Cup 2026

The Hong Kong Women vs Thailand Women match will be played as the first match of Group A of the 2026 Women’s T20 Asia Cup. The match will be held on Friday, 28 August 2026, at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium (DICS) in Dubai. The match will start at 8:30 PM Bangladesh time.

Hong Kong Women will be relatively behind in this match. They have won just one of their last five matches and have lost to Thailand in their last five head-to-head matches. However, if Natasha Miles and Mariko Hill can get off to a good start with the bat, Hong Kong can create a challenge. Marina Lamplough will play a key role in the bowling.

Thailand Women are clearly ahead in both recent form and head-to-head. The team is in Group A of the 2026 Women’s Asia Cup with India and Pakistan, so it is important for them to start with a win in their first match. Natthakan Chantham, Naruemol Chaiwai, Thipatcha Putthawong and Suleeporn Laomi are the main strength of the team.

Thailand Women are the clear favourites considering their current form, head-to-head record and overall balance of the team. Hong Kong Women can create a challenge if they start well, but Thailand’s batting depth and bowling attack are keeping them ahead.
