Swiss Air Cancellation Policy

Swiss Air Cancellation Policy: Learn about 24-hour free cancellations, refund options, and applicable fees. Call +1‑888‑592‑4114 for assistance.

The Swiss Air cancellation policy is designed to accommodate various passenger needs while distinguishing between fare types and timing. Under the 24‑hour cancellation window, travelers who cancel within 24 hours of booking (and at least 7 days prior to departure) are often entitled to a full refund. Refundable fares—such as Economy Flex, Business, or First Class—typically allow cancellations with minimal or no fees. In contrast, Economy Light fares usually incur higher Swiss Air cancellation fees and may only be eligible for travel credit rather than cash refunds.

If Swiss Air initiates the cancellation (e.g., due to operational disruptions), passengers are generally offered a full refund or free rebooking on an alternative flight. All cancellations and refund requests can be managed easily via the “Manage My Booking” portal on the Swiss Air website.
