South Africa vs Zimbabwe, 2nd Match, Namibia T20 Tri-Series 2026
South Africa and Zimbabwe will face off in the second match of the Namibia T20I Tri-Series 2026. The match will be held at the Namibia Cricket Ground, Windhoek, on 29 August 2026. South Africa, Zimbabwe and hosts Namibia are participating in this tri-series.
South Africa are well ahead in terms of their recent T20I performance. They have 3 wins and 2 losses in their last 5 matches. In particular, they have won their last 2 matches against New Zealand by 19 and 33 runs respectively. On the other hand, Zimbabwe have lost all their last 5 T20I matches.
Dewald Brevis, Connor Esterhuizen, Tony de Zorzi and Lhuan-dre Pretorius can play important roles in the South African batting lineup. Brevis and Esterhuizen in particular can pose a big challenge for the Zimbabwean bowlers.
Zimbabwe’s biggest hope is experienced all-rounder Sikandar Raza. Along with him, Brian Bennett, Ryan Burl, Brad Evans and Blessing Muzarabani can change the course of the match. However, their recent five consecutive defeats may affect their confidence.
