In the name of ALLAH, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
The Virtues of the Prophet (peace be upon him)... The Light of Guidance and the Path to Salvation.
Praise be to Allah, who has made clear to mankind the landmarks of manifest truth and appointed for them messengers as bearers of good tidings and warners—sending forth Muhammad, peace be upon him, among them as a mercy to the worlds. We bear witness that there is no deity but Allah alone, having no partner; He is the One who sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of truth to make it prevail over all religion, even though the polytheists dislike it. We also bear witness that Muhammad, peace be upon him, is the servant of Allah and His Messenger; with his birth, light dawned upon the world, and through his mission, humanity was rescued from its state of being lost. May peace and blessings be upon him, his noble and blessed family and companions, and upon those who follow them in righteousness until the Day of Judgment.
O servants of ALLAH: Fear ALLAH and Adopt piety and obey ALLAH. ALLAH says in Surah Al Hadid:
O you who believe [in Mûsa (Moses) (i.e. Jews) and 'Īsā (Jesus) (i.e. Christians)]! Fear Allâh, and believe in His Messenger (Muhammad SAW), He will give you a double portion of His Mercy, and He will give you a light by which you shall walk (straight), and He will forgive you. And Allâh is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
Surah Al Hadid – 28
Brothers in faith: Allah distinguished His Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) with the most perfect attributes and the purest qualities. He endowed him with noble character, immense forbearance, boundless mercy, truthfulness in speech, faithfulness to promises, gentleness of demeanor, and excellent conduct—qualities that made him the perfect role model for humanity—to the point that his Lord praised him, saying in Surah Al Qalam:
And verily, you (O Muhammad SAW) are on an exalted (standard of) character.
Surah Al Qalam – 4
These noble traits were a reality witnessed by people in all his affairs, reflected in his conduct toward both those close to him and strangers. Consider this scene with me: a Bedouin man approaches, yanks the Prophet (peace be upon him) by his garment, and speaks to him harshly; yet, the Prophet, peace be upon him, responds only with a smile and forbearance, then orders that a gift be given to him. Consider another scene: a man stands before him, overcome with such awe that he begins to tremble, so the Prophet, peace be upon him, reassures him, saying, "Calm yourself." When greatness combines with humility, strength with forbearance, commanding presence with mercy, and majesty with beauty, the result is Muhammad bin Abdullah (peace be upon him)—a man of noble character, generous nature, magnificent life, and a pure inner self.
O believers: With the noble character and great qualities of the Messenger of ALLAH, and with the ultimate human perfection he attained, greatness is most brilliantly manifested in the message he carried and in the law he called to, as it is clearly evident in the impact he had on humanity. The Messenger of ALLAH, peace be upon him, was born while the world was suffering under the weight of injustice and misguidance, in a world where humanity had strayed from truth and guidance, becoming lost in delusion, floundering in illusions and superstitions, in a world where the strong preyed on the weak, and brother on brother, where women's rights were violated, and where the bonds of kinship were severed. Kinship ties weaken, and the meanings of mutual support, mercy, and social justice diminish. So the Messenger of ALLAH, peace be upon him, was sent as a savior of humanity, establishing the foundations of justice and spreading the mantle of mercy. His Lord says of him in Surah Al Anbiya:
And We have sent you (O Muhammad SAW) not but as a mercy for the 'Alamîn (mankind, jinn and all that exists).
Surah Al Anbiya – 107
It is a divine mercy and a gracious gift from the Lord, that has been mentioned in Surah Aal E Imran
Indeed Allâh conferred a great favour on the believers when He sent among them a Messenger (Muhammad SAW) from among themselves, reciting unto them His Verses (the Qur'ân), and purifying them (from sins by their following him), and instructing them (in) the Book (the Qur'ân) and Al¬Hikmah [the wisdom and the Sunnah of the Prophet SAW (i.e. his legal ways, statements, acts of worship)], while before that they had been in manifest error.
Surah Aal E Imran – 164
O followers of the Messenger of Allah: The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, has departed to the Supreme Companion, yet he remains alive among you through his Sunnah; his soul has ascended to its Creator, yet the spirit of his message endures within you—resounding in your mosques and wafting its fragrance through your gatherings—as you pass it down through generations and convey it to the worlds. By holding fast to the Sunnah of our Prophet, peace be upon him, O beloved ones, we embody the reality of our love for him and our faith in him; and by conveying his guidance, we follow the path and way he chose for us. ALLAH says in Surah Yusuf
Say (O Muhammad SAW): "This is my way; I invite unto Allâh (i.e. to the Oneness of Allâh - Islâmic Monotheism) with sure knowledge, I and whosoever follows me (also must invite others to Allâh i.e to the Oneness of Allâh - Islâmic Monotheism with sure knowledge). And Glorified and Exalted is Allâh (above all that they associate as partners with Him). And I am not of the Mushrikûn (polytheists, pagans, idolaters and disbelievers in the Oneness of Allâh; those who worship others along with Allâh or set up rivals or partners to Allâh)."
Surah Yusuf – 108
So fear Allah, O servants of Allah, and realize that the greatest expression of love for the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) is adhering to his path and holding fast to his guidance; for Allah—Glory be to Him—has made following His Prophet the proof of that love, as He—Exalted is His Majesty—says in Surah Aal E Imran:
Say (O Muhammad SAW to mankind): "If you (really) love Allâh then follow me (i.e. accept Islâmic Monotheism, follow the Qur'ân and the Sunnah), Allâh will love you and forgive you your sins. And Allâh is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful."
Surah Aal E Imran – 131
So ask Allah for steadfastness in following the guidance of your Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), for adherence to his Sunnah, and for the ability to emulate him well; and ask Him to make you among those who love him. Indeed, He is the Guardian of that and is capable of it.
I say what you hear, and I ask forgiveness from ALLAH Almighty for me and for you, so ask forgiveness from Him and He will forgive you, for He is the Forgiving and Merciful, and pray to Him and He will answer you, for He is The noble righteousness.
Praise be to Allah for His benevolence, and thanks be to Him for His guidance and grace. We bear witness that there is no deity but Allah alone, with no partner, and we bear witness that our master Muhammad, peace be upon him, is His servant who is grateful for His benevolence—may prayers and peace be upon him, enduring until the Day of Judgment, and upon his pure family and companions.
O servants of ALLAH, ALLAH says in Surah Al Tawba
.
Verily, there has come unto you a Messenger (Muhammad SAW) from amongst yourselves (i.e. whom you know well). It grieves him that you should receive any injury or difficulty. He (Muhammad SAW) is anxious over you (to be rightly guided, to repent to Allâh, and beg Him to pardon and forgive your sins, in order that you may enter Paradise and be saved from the punishment of the Hell-fire), for the believers (he SAW is) full of pity, kind, and merciful.
Surah Al Tawba - 128
Know that love for the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) is a way of life—one translated into action, validated by following his example, and manifested in one’s character and conduct. Whoever loves the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) follows his guidance, seeks light in his Sunnah, and adopts his noble traits: showing mercy to creation, speaking the truth, acting with integrity in dealings, remaining forbearing in anger, forgiving when having the power to retaliate, and treating people with humility and kindness. The Prophetic Sunnah consists of truthful accounts that are narrated and living guidance that is followed; it is a methodology that rectifies the heart, refines the soul, mends the family, and builds society. It offers guidance to the husband regarding kind treatment; to the father regarding mercy toward his children; to the son regarding dutifulness to his parents; to the neighbor regarding fulfilling the rights of his neighbor; to the merchant regarding honesty and trustworthiness; to the wealthy regarding benevolence and compassion; and to the strong regarding gentleness toward the weak. Thus, it serves as a lifeline for both the individual and society, saving them from the perils of injustice, the ills of disunity, and the causes of discord. The Almighty says in Surah Al Ahzab:
Indeed, in the Messenger of Allâh (Muhammad SAW) you have a good example to follow for him who hopes for (the Meeting with) Allâh and the Last Day and remembers Allâh much.
Surah Al Ahzab –21
Through this, love is proven sincere, the act of following [the Prophet’s] example is magnified, and the Sunnah remains alive within homes, dealings, and gatherings—guiding the bewildered, uniting the community, shaping the individual, and fulfilling ALLAH's promise to His servants. ALLAH says in Surah Al Ahzab;
And whosoever obeys Allâh and His Messenger (SAW) he has indeed achieved a great achievement (i.e. he will be saved from the Hell-fire and will be admitted to Paradise).
Surah Al Ahzab –71-Part
So fear Allah—O servants of Allah—and uphold the Sunnah of your Prophet, peace be upon him, within yourselves and among your families. Embody his guidance in your homes, your dealings, and your social interactions, and be callers to his Sunnah through your character and your deeds. Let people see the influence of your Prophet in you and find the light of his message in your conduct; for the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, among those of you whom I love the most and who will be seated closest to me on the Day of Resurrection are those with the best character."
