SA20 Reveals Pre-Signed and Retained Players Ahead of Season 4 Auction

The SA20 Season 4 Auction is going to be very exciting because the six teams have already announced their pre-signed and retained players.

Each team was allowed to keep or pre-sign up to 6 players before the auction. This included a maximum of 3 South African players and 3 players from other countries. The deadline for this was July 18.

The teams have also made their 6 Wildcard signings carefully. Now, they are focusing on filling the remaining spots while managing the total budget of USD 7.4 million. This money will be used to buy players for the 84 slots available at the auction on September 9 in Johannesburg. For Season 4, a Wildcard player can be any foreign player or a South African player who was in the team’s squad in Season 3.
