It happens that the society is focused on physical image; it forces you to play a role, makes you think that you are imperfect, and makes you feel that you have to make efforts to be loved. You seek to receive love, instead of giving it. You become dependent on the opinion of others and consequently, you become very strict on yourself. Always remember that love is transformable instinct that shapes humans to be good being.

If you have no self love then you will also have no self-compassion and forgiveness for yourself; so, you will find it challenging to have compassion and forgiveness for others. And if you believe, you aren't enough; you will see others as not being enough. We can't see our inner world in one way and see the outer world in an opposite way. Today you have the possibility to find your inner love; you just have to make the "Decision" to change, to take the step to find the inner flame that you have lost. People are attracted to the love of things they desire, such as women, children, abundant wealth, fine horses, livestock, and fertile land. These are the pleasures of worldly life, but Allah holds the ultimate reward. "Beautified for mankind is love of the joys (that come) from women and offspring; and stored-up heaps of gold and silver, and horses branded (with their mark), and cattle and land. That is comfort of the life of the world. Allah! With Him is a more excellent abode." (Surah Ale Imran-14)

However, the Quran warns against the dangers of excessive love for the material world (dunya). This type of love can lead to greed, arrogance, and selfishness. It can also distract us from the worship of Allah SWT.

Would you choose the temporary pleasures of this world over the eternal bliss of the Hereafter? The fleeting satisfaction of this earthly life pales in comparison to what awaits in the Hereafter. "O believers! What is the matter with you that when you are asked to march forth in the cause of Allah, you cling firmly to ˹your˺ land? Do you prefer the life of this world over the Hereafter? The enjoyment of this worldly life is insignificant compared to that of the Hereafter." (Surah Tawbah-38)

The Quran teaches that the highest form of love is love for Allah SWT. This type of love is pure, unconditional, and everlasting. It is a love that transcends all other loves. ALLAH / God's love created the world and life and then made this love the means of evolution for creatures. Love is to pass beyond the limits. What is love? It’s to take possession of places. What is love? To pass beyond the limits, meaning that love has no end. The manifestations of the world are born from love and develop from love. "Love looses the knots of being; Love is liberation from the vortex of egotism. In love, every cup of sorrow which bites into the soul gives it new life;" Rumi. "Love is the prayer of the heart, it needs no words;" Ibn - Arabi.
