India VS Zimbabwe T20I

The Indian Cricket team showed great batting in the fourth T20I match against Zimbabwe to overcome them 10 wickets and clinch the series. The Indian opening pair of Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill worked perfectly to give their Zimbabwean counterparts a nightmare.

Zimbabwe batted first and scored a decent 153/7 in their twenty overs, with both the opener getting good starts. Sikandar Raza, whose unbeaten 46 given some intensity, was thoroughly contained by Indian bowler especially Shivam Dube and Abhishek Sharma who managed the run-rate well.

While running behind simple target, opening batsman of India Jaiswal and Gill have shown good batting prowess. Jaiswal was especially ruthless, scoring 93* in an astonishing 53 balls, including 13 fours and 2 sixes. Much-needed solidity was offered by Gill, whom made good 58*. They took India home with an unbroken 156-run stand and this triumph was achieved with 28 balls to spare.

·      Some good clinical bowling by India confined Zimbabwe to 153/7.

·      India won match by 10 wickets as Yashaswi Jaiswal scored a ton with 93* runs.

·      Shuman Gill compiled 58 * which were ideal to go with Jaiswal’s outstanding performance.

·      India claimed victory and took an unassailable 3-1 lead in series.

This clean sweep result strengthen the position of India in T20I cricket all the more. The young and talented Indian batting lineup came to front and team indeed play well. The series victory also gives India valuable acclimatization ahead of their next match.

As expected, Jaiswal got Player of the Match for his match-winning inning. His bad temper, and because of his aggressive style he was able to hit fours very often and this helped India to win match.

India will now target a clean sweep in the fifth and final T20I match. Zimbabwe, on the other hand, will hoping to score some consolation and not be whitewashed.
