How I Simplified Brand Protection Monitoring
Working in brand protection, I constantly need to check for counterfeit listings, trademark violations, and fake shops across different countries. That usually means visiting e-commerce platforms, social media ads, and even local marketplaces from all over the world.
At first, I tried using basic proxies or VPNs, but they didn’t work well — they got blocked quickly, or couldn’t display local versions of the sites accurately. It became frustrating to validate potential infringements because my traffic looked suspicious.
Switching to residential proxies made a huge difference. Since they use genuine household IP addresses, I could appear just like a real shopper from each target market, making it easier to spot fakes and monitor brand abuse.
I’ve been using Nsocks recently, because their residential proxy pool is massive — over 80 million real IPs with targeting down to specific countries or even cities. This helped me see exactly what local customers see, without being filtered or redirected. The setup was simple and worked well with my existing monitoring tools.
If you’re working on anti-counterfeiting, brand enforcement, or even just regional site audits, I’d absolutely recommend trying residential proxies. Nsocks made my brand protection tasks much smoother and less stressful.
