بِنَاءُ الوَطَنِ مَسْؤُولـِيَّةُ الـجَمِيعِ : Building the nation is everyone's responsibility

بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

بِنَاءُ الوَطَنِ مَسْؤُولـِيَّةُ الـجَمِيعِ

Building the nation is everyone's responsibility

Thanks be to Allah who has made the elevation and supremacy of the nations, an honor for those who act sincerely and the pride of the nations for those who do good deeds. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, He is alone, and He has no partner. I bear witness that our Lord and Prophet, may God's prayers and peace be upon him, is His servants and the Messengers, the best of builders and builders of nations and the best of builders of minds and strengthening them. Peace and blessings be upon you, upon your family, upon the people of knowledge, upon the people who join in the work and the factors of construction - translation of the recited verses of Surah Al Ghashiyyah is:

أَمَّا بَعْدُ، فاعوذ باللہ من الشیطان الرجیم- بسم اللہ الرحمن الرحیم 

أَفَلَا يَنظُرُونَ إِلَى ٱلۡإِبِلِ ڪَيۡفَ خُلِقَتۡ (١٧) وَإِلَى ٱلسَّمَآءِ ڪَيۡفَ رُفِعَتۡ (١٨) وَإِلَى ٱلۡجِبَالِ كَيۡفَ نُصِبَتۡ (١٩) وَإِلَى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ كَيۡفَ سُطِحَتۡ (٢٠) فَذَكِّرۡ إِنَّمَآ أَنتَ مُذَڪِّرٌ۬ (٢١) لَّسۡتَ عَلَيۡهِم بِمُصَيۡطِرٍ (٢٢) إِلَّا مَن تَوَلَّىٰ وَكَفَرَ (٢٣) فَيُعَذِّبُهُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡعَذَابَ ٱلۡأَكۡبَرَ (٢٤) إِنَّ إِلَيۡنَآ إِيَابَہُمۡ (٢٥) ثُمَّ إِنَّ عَلَيۡنَا حِسَابَہُم (٢٦)

پھر کیا وہ اونٹوں کی طرف نہیں دیکھتے کہ کیسے بنائے گئے ہیں (۱۷) اور آسمان کی طرف کہ کیسے بلند کیے گئے ہیں (۱۸) اور پہاڑوں کی طرف کہ کیسے کھڑے کیے گئے ہیں (۱۹) اور زمین کی طرف کہ کیسے بچھائی گئی ہے (۲۰) پس آپ نصیحت کیجئے بے شک آپ تو نصیحت کرنے والے ہیں (۲۱) آپ ان پر کوئی داروغہ نہیں ہیں (۲۲) مگر جس نے منہ موڑا اورانکار کیا (۲۳) سو اسے الله بہت بڑا عذاب دے گا (۲۴) بےشک ہماری طرف ہی ان کو لوٹ کر آنا ہے (۲۵) پھر ہمارےہی ذمہ ان کا حساب لینا ہے

Do they not look at the camels, how they are created? (17) And at the heaven, how it is raised? (18) And at the mountains, how they are rooted (and fixed firm)? (19) And at the earth, how it is outspread? (20) So remind them (O Muhammad (SAW)) — you are only a one who reminds. (21) You are not a dictator over them — (22) Save the one who turns away and disbelieves. (23) Then Allâh will punish him with the greatest punishment. (24) Verily, to Us will be their return; (25) Then verily, for Us will be their reckoning. (26)

Surah Al Ghashiya – 17-26

O servants of Allah, fear Allah - adopt piety and obey Allah. In Surah Al-Imran, Allah says in Surah Aal E Imran: 

يَـٰٓأَيُّہَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ ٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ حَقَّ تُقَاتِهِۦ وَلَا تَمُوتُنَّ إِلَّا وَأَنتُم مُّسۡلِمُونَ 

O you who believe! Fear Allâh (by doing all that He has ordered and by abstaining from all that He has forbidden) as He should be feared. [Obey Him, be thankful to Him, and remember Him always], and die not except in a state of Islâm [as Muslims (with complete submission to Allâh)]. 

Surah Aal E Imran – 102

O Believers - Distinguished Gentlemen, know that nation building is one of the highest goals and it is a great responsibility that requires continuous joint efforts, unifying efforts of all sections of society and cooperation, and it is not surprising that nation building is related to knowledge, work, planning, effort, diligence etc.

O Believers - The first stage of nation-building is the building of people and societies, and our sacred and true religion has given great importance to it, urging it to include elements that enhance its value and dignity. As the successor of his Lord in which Allah Almighty has appointed him, performing his duties and responsibilities and maintaining an atmosphere of trust to rebuild this country for his protection. Allah Ta'ala says in Surah Fatir:

هُوَ ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَكُمۡ خَلَـٰٓٮِٕفَ فِى ٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ

He it is Who has made you successors generations after generations in the earth,

Surah Fatir – 39-Part

These areas of construction include education, upbringing, morals and sincerity in work and are among the major components of building nations and advancing civilizations. If a person learns and nurtures the values and principles of faith, he will be able to take on this great responsibility that is supported by morals. That is why the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was sent to fulfill it. The Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: 

إِنَّمَا بُعِثْتُ لأُتَمِّمَ مَكَارِمَ الأَخْلاقِ I was sent to complete good conduct.

A nation cannot rise without hard work and continuous hard work. Our Lord, His Majesty, blesses the efforts of the workers if they are endowed with sincerity and skill. Allah Ta'ala says in Surat al-Tawbah:

وَقُلِ ٱعۡمَلُواْ فَسَيَرَى ٱللَّهُ عَمَلَكُمۡ وَرَسُولُهُ ۥ وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ‌ۖ وَسَتُرَدُّونَ إِلَىٰ عَـٰلِمِ ٱلۡغَيۡبِ وَٱلشَّہَـٰدَةِ فَيُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ

And say (O Muhammad SAW) "Do deeds! Allâh will see your deeds, and (so will) His Messenger and the believers. And you will be brought back to the All-Knower of the unseen and the seen. Then He will inform you of what you used to do."

Surah Al Tawba – 105

O intelligent people, it is no wonder that constant labor leads to production and progress, and opportunities for growth and prosperity increase, and here every individual should realize his responsibility in building up his society and nation. So that he can devote himself to his work and master his profession, and he knows that there is no room for laziness and dependency in nation-building and developing nations.

O servants of Allah, fear Allah and remember that whoever builds his homeland with the intention of Allah's help, patience and reward, he will find success in this world and happiness in the Hereafter. He says in Surah Al-Qasas:

تِلۡكَ ٱلدَّارُ ٱلۡأَخِرَةُ نَجۡعَلُهَا لِلَّذِينَ لَا يُرِيدُونَ عُلُوًّ۬ا فِى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَلَا فَسَادً۬ا‌ۚ وَٱلۡعَـٰقِبَةُ لِلۡمُتَّقِينَ

That home of the Hereafter (i.e. Paradise), We shall assign to those who rebel not against the truth with pride[] and oppression in the land nor do mischief by committing crimes. And the good end is for the Muttaqûn (pious righteous persons - see V.2:2).

Surah Al Qasas – 83

أقولُ مَا تَسْمَعُونَ، وَأَسْتَغْفِرُ اللهَ العَظِيمَ لِي وَلَكُمْ، فَاسْتَغْفِرُوهُ يَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ، إِنَّهُ هُوَ الغَفُورُالرَّحِيمُ، وَادْعُوهُ يَسْتَجِبْ لَكُمْ، إِنَّهُ هُوَ البَرُّ الكَرِيمُ

Say this, I ask forgiveness from Allah for me and for you, so ask Him for forgiveness and He will forgive you. He is the Forgiving, the Merciful. And call upon Him and He will answer you, for He is generous in righteousness.

   الحَمْدُ للهِ الَّذِي جَعَلَ فِي الاعتِصَامِ بِهِ قُوَّةً وَأُلْفَةً، وَنَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لا شَرِيـكَ لَهُ، وَنَشْهَدُ أَنَّ سَيِّدَنَا مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ، الدَّاعِي إِلَى وَحْدَةِ الكَلِمَةِ، صَلَوَاتُ اللهِ وَسَلامُهُ عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَى آلِهِ وَصَحْبِهِ، وَمَنْ سَارَ عَلَى نَهْجِهِ

Praise be to the Lord who holds firm in knowledge, and we bear witness that there is no god but Allah alone, He has no partner, and we bear witness that our master Muhammad, Peace and blessings be upon him is His servants and messengers. He calls for the unity of those who are on one word. Peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah, his family, his companions and those who follow his path.

O people of Allah, fear Allah as for the following, O people of Allah: Know that a nation whose people are divided cannot stand firm in the face of these challenges. Therefore, the believer must hold fast to Allah's order and gather for ever so that he can be grateful for its results with guidance and success. Allah Ta'ala says in Surah Al-Imran:

وَٱعۡتَصِمُواْ بِحَبۡلِ ٱللَّهِ جَمِيعً۬ا وَلَا تَفَرَّقُواْ‌ۚ وَٱذۡكُرُواْ نِعۡمَتَ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيۡكُمۡ إِذۡ كُنتُمۡ أَعۡدَآءً۬ فَأَلَّفَ بَيۡنَ قُلُوبِكُمۡ فَأَصۡبَحۡتُم بِنِعۡمَتِهِۦۤ إِخۡوَٲنً۬ا وَكُنتُمۡ عَلَىٰ شَفَا حُفۡرَةٍ۬ مِّنَ ٱلنَّارِ فَأَنقَذَكُم مِّنۡہَا‌ۗ كَذَٲلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ ٱللَّهُ لَكُمۡ ءَايَـٰتِهِۦ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَہۡتَدُونَ 

And hold fast, all of you together, to the Rope of Allâh (i.e. this Qur'ân), and be not divided among yourselves[], and remember Allâh's Favour on you, for you were enemies one to another but He joined your hearts together, so that, by His Grace, you became brethren (in Islâmic Faith), and you were on the brink of a pit of Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus Allâh makes His Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.,) clear to you, that you may be guided.

Surah Aal E Imran – 103

The unity between the people of the country is strengthened, and the cooperation between them drives the wheel of construction, development and progress, no wonder the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) built the nation like that. He is the most important pillar in the construction of the homeland and the nation, who came to Madinah and created brotherhood among the Muslims and united their hearts with unity of faith. Then the entire nation should know that good planning for the future and its full implementation is a great step towards nation building and its prosperity. No nation can move forward without having a clear vision of what it wants to achieve, and the Prophet ﷺ was planning for the future, whether it was in his preaching or in building his state. Therefore, raising nations to heights is not a temporary process, but a sustainable process maintained through long-term planning.

So fear Allah – servants of Allah – and let hearts unite and join hands to seek their happiness and build your civilization. Your Lord is the beacon of light in your life, because Allah Almighty says in Surat al-Maidah: 

وَتَعَاوَنُواْ عَلَى ٱلۡبِرِّ وَٱلتَّقۡوَىٰ‌ۖ وَلَا تَعَاوَنُواْ عَلَى ٱلۡإِثۡمِ وَٱلۡعُدۡوَٲنِ‌ۚ وَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ‌ۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ شَدِيدُ ٱلۡعِقَابِ

Help you one another in Al-Birr and At-Taqwa (virtue, righteousness and piety); but do not help one another in sin and transgression. And fear Allâh. Verily, Allâh is Severe in punishment.

Surah Al Maeda – 2-Part

هَذَا وَصَلُّوا وَسَلِّمُوا عَلَى إمَامِ الْمُرْسَلِينَ؛ مُحَمَّدٍ الهَادِي الأَمِينِ، فَقَدْ أَمَرَكُمْ رَبكُمْ بذَلكَ حينَ قَالَ

إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ وَمَلَـٰٓٮِٕڪَتَهُ ۥ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى ٱلنَّبِىِّۚ يَـٰٓأَيُّہَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ صَلُّواْ عَلَيۡهِ وَسَلِّمُواْ تَسۡلِيمًا

Surah Al Ahzaab – 56

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ وسَلِّم عَلَى نَبِيِّنَا مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ نَبِيِّنَا مُحَمَّدٍ، كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ وسَلَّمتَ عَلَى نَبِيِّنَا إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلَى آلِ نَبِيِّنَا إِبْرَاهِيمَ، وَبَارِكْ عَلَى نَبِيِّنَا مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ نَبِيِّنَا مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلَى نَبِيِّنَا إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلَى آلِ نَبِيِّنَا إِبْرَاهِيمَ فِي الْعَالَمِينَ، إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ، وَارْضَ اللَّهُمَّ عَنْ خُلَفَائِهِ الرَّاشِدِينَ، وَعَنْ أَزْوَاجِهِ أُمَّهَاتِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَعَنْ سَائِرِ الصَّحَابَةِ أَجْمَعِينَ، وَعَنِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ، وعَنْ جَمْعِنَا هَذَا بِرَحْمَتِكَ يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ جَمْعَنَا هَذَا جَمْعًا مَرْحُوْمًا، وَاجْعَلْ تَفَرُّقَنَا مِنْ بَعْدِهِ تَفَرُّقًا مَعْصُوْمًا وَلا تَدَعْ فِينَا وَلا مَعَنَا شَقِيًّا وَلا مَحْرُومًا

اللَّهُمَّ أَعِزَّ الإِسْلامَ وَاهْدِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ إِلَى الْحَقِّ، وَاجْمعْ كَلِمَتَهُمْ عَلَى الخَيْرِ، وَاكْسِرْ شَوْكَةَ الظَّالِمِينَ، وَاكْتُبِ السَّلامَ وَالأَمْنَ لِعِبادِكَ أَجْمَعِينَ 

اللَّهُمَّ يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ يَا ذَا الجَلالِ وَالإِكْرَامِ، لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ سُبْحَانَكَ بِكَ نَستَجِيرُ وَبِرَحْمَتِكَ نَستَغِيثُ أَلاَّ تَكِلَنَا إِلَى أَنفُسِنَا طَرفَةَ عَينٍ، وَلاَ أَدنَى مِنْ ذَلِكَ وَأَصلِحْ لَنَا شَأْنَنَا كُلَّهُ يَا مُصلِحَ شَأْنِ الصَّالِحِينَ

اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا احْفَظْ أَوْطَانَنَا وَأَعِزَّ سُلْطَانَنَا وَأَيِّدْهُ بِالْحَقِّ وَأَيِّدْ بِهِ الْحَقَّ يَا رَبَّ العَالَمِينَ، اللَّهُمَّ أَسْبِغْ عَلَيْهِ نِعمَتَكَ، وَأَيِّدْهُ بِنُورِ حِكْمَتِكَ، وَسَدِّدْهُ بِتَوفِيقِكَ، وَاحفَظْهُ بِعَينِ رعَايَتِكَ

اللَّهُمَّ أَنْزِلْ عَلَيْنَا مِنْ بَرَكَاتِ السَّمَاء وَأَخْرِجْ لَنَا مِنْ خَيْرَاتِ الأَرْضِ، وَبَارِكْ لَنَا في ثِمَارِنَا وَزُرُوعِنَا وكُلِّ أَرزَاقِنَا يَا ذَا الْجَلالِ وَالإِكْرَامِ

رَبَّنَا آتِنَا في الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفي الآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالمُؤْمِنَات، المُسْلِمِينَ وَالمُسْلِمَات، الأَحْيَاءِ مِنْهُمْ وَالأَمْوَاتِ، إِنَّكَ سَمِيعٌ قَرِيبٌ مُجِيبُ الدُّعَاءِ

عِبَادَ الله إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَأۡمُرُ بِٱلۡعَدۡلِ وَٱلۡإِحۡسَـٰنِ وَإِيتَآىِٕ ذِى ٱلۡقُرۡبَىٰ وَيَنۡهَىٰ عَنِ ٱلۡفَحۡشَآءِ وَٱلۡمُنڪَرِ وَٱلۡبَغۡىِ‌ۚ يَعِظُكُمۡ لَعَلَّڪُمۡ تَذَكَّرُونَ
