Bangladesh Women vs New Zealand Women | ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2026 Warm-up Match

The warm-up match between Bangladesh National Women's Cricket Team and New Zealand National Women's Cricket Team will be held on 6 June 2026, in Loughborough, England. This is an important warm-up match for both teams before New Zealand's tour of England. The match will start at 9 pm Bangladesh time.

The head-to-head statistics speak in New Zealand’s favour, as Bangladesh women’s team has yet to beat New Zealand in the T20 format. However, Bangladesh women’s team has shown improvement in their performance in recent times under the leadership of Nigar Sultana and this match is a big opportunity to boost their confidence ahead of the main series.

Bangladesh’s batting will be dominated by captain Nigar Sultana, Sharna Akhtar, Ritu Moni and Sobhana Mostari. On the other hand, New Zealand’s strong team includes experienced cricketers like Sophie Devine, Amelia Kerr, Maddy Green and Leah Tahuhu, who are capable of turning the tide of the match at any time.

Since it is a warm-up match, both teams can experiment with different combinations and there is a possibility of giving opportunities to young players. Nevertheless, the match is expected to be competitive as both teams will be looking to prepare at their best ahead of the upcoming international schedule.
