The 2015 edition remains Bangladesh’s best World Cup performance, as the team reached the quarter-finals for the first time. In the 2019 tournament, Shakib Al Hasan delivered one of the greatest individual campaigns in World Cup history, scoring 606 runs and taking 11 wickets.

Bangladesh has participated several times in the ICC Champions Trophy, with its most remarkable achievement coming in 2017 when the team reached the semi-finals.
