Peter Thiel a US Tech Billionaire delivered some off-the-record lectures about the "Antichrist", "End Times" and "Armageddon". Alexander Dugin argues that Thiel distorts the concept of the Katechon by linking it to technological acceleration, while narrowly framing the Antichrist as liberal globalism. Peter Thiel is an US Tech Billionaire. He was a co-founder of PayPal (1998), Palantir Technologies (2003), and Founders Fund (2005); he was also the first outside investor in Facebook (2004). According to The New York Times, as of December 2025, Thiel's estimated net worth stood at US$27.5 billion, placing him among the 100-richest individuals in the world.

Peter Thiel made his early fortune as a co-founder of PayPal, he has personally contributed to Facebook as its first outside investor, as well as to SpaceX, OpenAI and more through his investment firm, Founders Fund. Palantir, which he co-founded, has won government contracts worth billions to create software for the Pentagon, US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (Ice) and the National Health Service in the UK.

Off late, he delivered some off-the-record lectures about the "Antichrist", "End Times" and "Armageddon". (Tickets for the series went for $200, selling out within hours. Attenders were told that the lectures were strictly off the record and that they were forbidden from taking photos, videos or audio recordings). Over the past six months, Thiel has hosted a series of lectures on the downtown waterfront of San Francisco and near the Vatican in 2026, philosophizing about who the antichrist could be and warning that Armageddon is coming.

Peter Thiel, who describes himself as a “small-orthodox Christian”, believes the harbinger of the end of the world could already be in our midst and those things such as international agencies, environmentalism and guardrails on technology could quicken its rise. He reportedly said “I’m a libertarian, or a classical liberal, who deviates in one minor detail, where I’m worried about the antichrist,” and continued “One world or not, in a sense is the same as the question antichrist or Armageddon. So in one sense, it’s completely the same question”.

Peter Thiel also said “A basic definition of the antichrist: some people think of it as a type of very bad person. Sometimes it’s used more generally as a spiritual descriptor of the forces of evil,” and continued to say that “What I will focus on is the most common and most dramatic interpretation of antichrist: an evil king or tyrant or anti-messiah who appears in the end times.”

The above information reflects an interesting and remarkable discursion that reveals the preoccupations of one of the most influential people in Silicon Valley and the USA. Peter Thiel was on the forefront of conservative politics long before the rest of Silicon Valley took a rightward turn with Donald Trump’s second term as president. He’s had close ties to Trump for nearly a decade, and is credited with catapulting JD Vance into the office of vice-president, and is bankrolling Republicans’ 2026 midterm campaigns.

Now, with more attention and political pull than ever, the billionaire Peter Thiel is looking to spread his message about the antichrist, though he is better known for his savvy politics and investments than his contributions to theology. His version of history, and its potential end, posits technology as a central driver of societal change and takes a Christianity-focused, Eurocentric view that declines to engage much with other religious movements or parts of the world.

Peter Thiel has expressed views that technology, particularly when misused or over-regulated by global authorities, could serve as a tool to usher in an "Antichrist-like" era. Based on a series of lectures delivered in late 2025 and early 2026, Thiel frames the Antichrist not necessarily as one single person, but as an authoritarian global system that uses fear of existential threats (such as AI, climate change, or pandemics) to seize power, suppress individual liberties, and enforce the stagnation of technological progress.

The Antichrist as a "Tech-Authoritarian" System: Thiel argues the Antichrist is a force that promises peace and safety—"a technocrat with impeccable credentials"—but creates a one-world state that kills progress and freedom.

The Role of Fear: He contends this force comes to power by talking "constantly about Armageddon," utilizing threats to make the population voluntarily trade freedom for security.

Technology as a Double-Edged Sword: While Thiel is a tech investor; he warns that "unregulated AI acceleration" could lead to a totalitarian system. Conversely, in some interpretations, he sees certain technology as a katechon—a biblical term for a force that holds back the apocalypse.

Criticism of Environmentalism/AI Regulation: Thiel has labeled figures like Greta Thunberg as "legionnaires of the Antichrist," arguing that global environmentalism and strict AI regulation are mechanisms to establish this totalitarian control.

"Thiel’s Eschatological Error"

Now let's read an opinion from Russian Philosopher namely Alexander Dugin on this topic which appeared on X.com titled "Thiel’s Eschatological Error":-

Alexander Dugin argues that Thiel distorts the concept of the Katechon by linking it to technological acceleration, while narrowly framing the Antichrist as liberal globalism.

It is good that Thiel speaks about Antichrist and Katehon. These topics are really relevant today. But what he says is a kind of full confusion. He reduces the Antichrist to left liberal globalism only (World Government, Soros, Greta). It is a part of the truth. They are.

But his interpretation of Katehon identified with AI, high tech and post-liberal accelerationism is weird and totally inadequate. Katehon by C.Schmitt is the vertically organised State, Leviathan. Most authentic version is Christian Empire - Byzantine/for us, Roman for Catholics.

The posthumanist change of bodies, Palantir’s total control, genetics and Epstein elites ruling the world from their bunkers have absolutely nothing to do with Katehon. It is rather the other side of the same Antichrist. Antichrist is the Enemy (antikeimenos) of Katehon.

So Katehonic Russia fights against global government but the Thiel’s project isn’t alternative. It is the part of the same Antichrist.

By the way Christian Orthodox prophecy identifies the Jewish Moshiah with the Antichrist too. Third aspect that explains our attitude to the Zionism; Protestant dispensationalist theology and Evangelical Christian Zionism belong to the same group of concepts.

Interesting that Islamic eschatology (not only Shia but Sunni too -except Salafi, Wahhabi and ISIS controlled by Mossad) coincides more or less with Christian Orthodox. The Muslims interpret Zionism and the modern West in general as Dajjal (=Antichrist). Exactly like us.

According to some hadith final battle will be between Dajjal (Zionism/ USA dispensationalists) on one hand and the alliance of the Islam (Mahdi) and Rum (Orthodox Christianity - Katehon).

Tech bros (Alex Karp and other) are clearly on the side of Antichrist. They just invite to throw off the masks of liberalism and to impose Antichrist rule directly.

Islam (eg Quran 38:34) describes the Dajjal [Anti-Christ] as an entity, who usurps Solomon's throne, as a Jasad—ie a soulless humanoid, who sees the physical realm; but is spiritually blind. Peter Thiel's AI singularity will create a replica-Messiah, but the Faithful will see he is SOULLESS and fake / false messiah. However, Anti-Christ will be a creation of God Almighty ALLAH and will be from the Banu Israel- a Jew. He may have some insane powers as if miracles performing capability. He will, therefore, first claim to be a "Messiah" (Jesus Christ as prophesized in Old Testament).

The Dajjal / Anti-Christ will them assume more powers by getting support from his followers (Zionist Jews and Tech Gurus like Peter Thiel etc) and he may then proclaim godly powers and issue directions against the religious dictums given in Torah and Bible. Zionist Jews appears to be preparing for financial control through digital and AI tools. The US $ is today' worlds trade currency and total worth, in $ terms, of world's rich people (mostly tech gurus) is more than available buyable assets.

It appears that Zionist Jews as Anti-Christ tech cohorts may apply a financial collapse in the world and may offer gold and silver based digital coins to the people of the world from the throne of "David" in Jerusalem as world's trade currency. It remains to be seen that how other big powerful nations line China react to such actions of Zionist Jews. We are living in interesting times.
