Certainly, my Lord is the Most Courteous and Kind unto whom He wills.
Praise be to Allah, the Subtle, the All-Knowing, the All-Hearing, the All-Seeing. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah alone, without partner, the ALLAH, the first and the last, the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth. And I bear witness that Muhammad, peace be upon him, is His chosen servant and His selected messenger. May the blessings and peace of Allah be upon him, his family, his companions, and all those who follow them in righteousness until the Day of Judgment. This is the recited verse and its translation from Surah Al Shuara:
"Who has created me, and it is He Who guides me; (78) "And it is He Who feeds me and gives me to drink (79) "And when I am ill, it is He who cures me; (80) "And Who will cause me to die, and then will bring me to life (again); (81) "And Who, I hope will forgive me my faults on the Day of Recompense, (the Day of Resurrection)," (82) My Lord! Bestow Hukm (religious knowledge, right judgement of the affairs and Prophethood) on me, and join me with the righteous, (83) And grant me an honourable mention in later generations. (84) And make me one of the inheritors of the Paradise of Delight. (85) And forgive my father, verily he is of the erring. (86) And disgrace me not on the Day when (all the creatures) will be resurrected; (87) The Day whereon neither wealth nor sons will avail, (88) Except him who brings to Allâh a clean heart [clean from Shirk (polytheism) and Nifâq (hypocrisy)]. (89) And Paradise will be brought near to the Muttaqûn (pious and righteous persons - see V.2:2). (90)
Surah Al Shuara – 78-90
O servants of ALLAH: Fear ALLAH and Adopt piety and obey ALLAH, and hold fast to your religion, for it is the firmest bond. Reflect upon the names and attributes of your Lord, so that your hearts may be purified and your souls cleansed in this world and the Hereafter. ALLAH says in Surah Al A'araf
And (all) the Most Beautiful Names belong to Allâh[], so call on Him by them
Surah Al Araf – 180-Part
O Muslims: Indeed, life lived within the embrace of ALLAH 's names and attributes is the paradise of this worldly life. And among the requirements of loving ALLAH, the Exalted, is knowing Him through His names and attributes. And among His names, O noble ones, is Al-Latif (The Subtle), for He is the One who is kind to His servants, managing their affairs, facilitating their matters, and bringing them good from where they least expect it. They feel it; how much He provides for the servant from a source other than the one he expected to receive sustenance from, and how much good He bestows upon him from where he feared poverty. ALLAH says in Surah Ash Shura
Allâh is very Gracious and Kind to His slaves. He gives provisions to whom He wills. And He is the All-Strong, the All-Mighty.
Surah Ash Shura – 19
One of the scholars said: “Kindness is conveying good to the servant through a hidden path, without his awareness.” How often have we witnessed His hidden care, His concealed benevolence, and His merciful planning! He is the One who provides for people, protects them, averts calamity from them, and prevents evil from befalling them, while they remain oblivious to all of this. Among the manifestations of His kindness is that He strives to Here is your provision, which has been written for you and whose doors have been made easy for you, as ALLAH says in Surah At Talaq
And whosoever fears Allâh and keeps his duty to Him, He will make a way for him to get out (from every difficulty). (2) And He will provide him from (sources) he never could imagine.
Surah At Talaq – 2-3-Part
Then, sustenance will pour upon you abundantly, after your days were filled with toil. Among these trials is that ALLAH may test you to purify you, for the human soul is never free from shortcomings. So ALLAH sends trials to cleanse sins and purify hearts, so that the servant may reach Him pure and sincere. And ALLAH may delay something you love; Because there is good in the delay that you do not know. The Prophet, peace be upon him, said: “How amazing is the affair of the believer! Indeed, all of his affairs are good for him. If something good happens to him, he is grateful, and that is good for him. If something bad happens to him, he is patient, and that is good for him.” How beautiful is the kindness of our Lord, and how abundant is His favor! Whoever knows his Lord to be kind will not despair in times of hardship, nor will he be angry at delays, nor will he lose hope when circumstances become complicated.
O believers: Indeed, the kindness of ALLAH Almighty in all aspects has become clearly manifest in His kindness to His most beloved servants, and those closest to Him, His prophets and saints; So this is the Prophet of ALLAH, Joseph - peace be upon him - after many years of suffering, including the loss of his parents, the conspiracy of his brothers, being sold for a paltry price, being falsely accused of adultery, and then being unjustly imprisoned. After all of that, when ALLAH reunited him with his father and his brothers, he said with amazing contentment and complete certainty in ALLAH's favor and His good planning as mentioned in Surah Yusuf
Certainly, my Lord is the Most Courteous and Kind unto whom He wills.
Surah Yusuf – 100-Part
For ALLAH, in His wisdom and mercy, willed to elevate his status, make him the ruler of Egypt, reunite him with his parents, and have his brothers apologize to him. Thus, he attained the highest rank and most exalted position, peace and blessings be upon him. And this, O servants of ALLAH, is a single divine principle: that kindness precedes empowerment, and that relief is born from the womb of hardship. As for Moses - peace be upon him - he is the one whom ALLAH, in His abundant grace, decreed to be raised in the house of his enemy Pharaoh, and He instilled love for him in the hearts of those who saw him, until Pharaoh loved him. ALLAH, may His glory be exalted, says in Surah TaHa:
And I endued you with love from Me, in order that you may be brought up under My Eye,
Surah TaHa – 39-Part
What kindness and what generosity! And the kindness of ALLAH Almighty towards Jesus, son of Mary, is not hidden from you, when He saved him from those who wanted to kill him, and raised him up to Himself in honor, just as He was kind to His friend Abraham, peace be upon him, so He made the fire cool and safe for him, and He was kind to His friend Muhammad, peace be upon him, so He saved him in the cave, and He saved him in the Battle of Uhud, and in Hunayn, and in the Battle of the Trench. How kind ALLAH is to His allies, and how fortunate they are! By His grace and companionship in this world and the Hereafter!
So fear ALLAH, O servants of ALLAH, and seek ALLAH's grace through obedience to Him, and strive for what is with Him through good deeds; for what is with ALLAH can only be attained through obedience to Him.
I say what you hear, and I ask forgiveness from ALLAH Almighty for me and for you, so ask forgiveness from Him and He will forgive you, for He is the Forgiving and Merciful, and pray to Him and He will answer you, for He is The noble righteousness
Praise be to Allah, the Possessor of subtle kindness and pleasing favor. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah alone, without partner. He is the Guardian. And I bear witness that Muhammad, peace be upon him, is the servant of Allah and His Messenger, the unlettered Prophet. May prayers and peace be upon him and upon his family, his companions, and those who follow them in goodness until the Day of Judgment.
:
Now then, O brothers: When a servant believes in ALLAH, the Subtle, and realizes that his Lord is kind to him, especially if he is among those who obey Him and worship Him well, his heart finds peace in times of hardship. He remains steadfast, neither fearful nor panicking, but rather trusts that his Subtle Lord manages his affairs, provides for him well, and rectifies his situation. Thus, you will see him... He had good faith in his Lord in every matter, and was content with His decree and destiny in every affair, and submitted to what he disliked of calamities and misfortunes, believing that all of His affairs were good for him. ALLAH, the Exalted and Majestic, says in Surah Al Baqara:
and it may be that you dislike a thing which is good for you
Surah Al Baqara – 216-Part
And He, may His glory be exalted, says in Surah Al Nisa:
It may be that you dislike a thing and Allâh brings through it a great deal of good.
Surah An Nisa – 19-Part
The Prophet, peace be upon him, said, instructing Seyyedina Ibn Abbas, may ALLAH be pleased with them both, and his nation after him: “Know that what has missed you was not meant to hit you, and what has hit you was not meant to miss you. Know that victory comes with patience, relief comes with distress, and ease comes with hardship.” This is the Muslim’s belief in his Lord, the Kind, Glory be to Him. Indeed, the Muslim servant who sees the kindness of ALLAH that he sees is worthy of being kind to people as he loves for ALLAH to be kind to him, and of being good to them and being gentle with them. For ALLAH is to His servant as the servant is to His creation. Whoever is kind to them, ALLAH will be kind to him, and whoever is gentle with them, ALLAH will be gentle with him. So let your kindness be in your home, in your work, in your words, and in your judgment of people. For kindness does not need money, but rather a living heart.
So fear ALLAH, O servants of ALLAH, and seek His kindness in His decrees, and contemplate His wisdom in His planning, for there is no hardship except that behind it is kindness, and there is no delay except that within it is good, and there is no affliction except that it is a door of closeness for whoever has good thoughts about his Lord. The Muslim should feel ashamed before a Lord who has concealed his faults, been kind to him, and not exposed him despite his shortcomings, and should call upon Him by His name, the Kind, in times of hardship and ease, saying: O Kind One, guide us and be kind to us. One of the greatest forms of supplication is to address your Lord with a name that suits your situation. No matter becomes constricted except that it expands, and no distress becomes complicated except that it is relieved by the grace of ALLAH.
O servants of ALLAH, remember this command of ALLAH:
Say: "O 'Ibâdî (My slaves) who have transgressed against themselves (by committing evil deeds and sins)! Despair not of the Mercy of Allâh, verily Allâh forgives all sins. Truly, He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
Surah Az Zumr – 53
