Prayer is good news for believers۔
Surah Al Mumenoon – 1-2
Surah Taha – 25-28
Praise be to Allah Who has made prayer obligatory on His servants, and in prayer He has kept the hearts of believers satisfied and happy. Glorified is He and praise be to Him, to Him we worship and to Him we seek help. We bear witness that there is no god but Allah, He is alone and He has no partner, the Lord of the First and the Last, and He Who sent down the Book of Light in which there is no doubt, a guidance for the pious. I bear witness that our master Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, is the servant of God and His messenger, the chosen prophet, the best of those who stand and pray, who believe and fear, may God have mercy on him, on his family and his companions, and upon the followers, and those who followed them with justice until the Day of Resurrection - the translation of the recited verse is:
Successful indeed are the believers. (1) Those who offer their Salât (prayers) with all solemnity and full submissiveness. (2)
Surah Al Mumenoon – 1-2
O people of Allah, fear Allah as He should be feared, for whoever fear Allah, He will protect him. And whoever trusts in Allah, He will protect him, and whoever seeks help from Him, He will guide him. It is stated in Surat al-Maida”
So fear Allâh, O men of understanding in order that you may be successful.
Surah Al Maeda – 100-Part
Prayer is a spiritual necessity which Lord Dhul-Jalal has made a link between Himself and His servants in Islam. It has paved the way for inner and psychological peace and heart contentment. Prayer is a great act of worship, and it is one of the pillars of Islam on which the basis of true submission to Allah cannot be built except by realizing His greatness and His efficiency. Explaining the pillars of religion, the Prophet (Peace be upon him) said:
Islam is based on five things: testifying that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, establishing prayer, paying Zakat, performing Hajj and fasting in Ramadan.
Prayer - O servants of Allah - is a moral force that brings peace from the inside to the outside, and makes the one who performs it look at life full of dignity and love, and hold on to faith and sincerity with a hopeful eye. I help, why not? The one who performs it is patient with adversity, vicissitudes of time and changes of circumstances. He says in Surah Al-Baqarah:
And seek help in patience and As-Salât (the prayer) and truly it is extremely heavy and hard except for Al-Khâshi'ûn [i.e. the true believers in Allâh - those who obey Allâh with full submission, fear much from His Punishment, and believe in His Promise (Paradise,) and in His Warnings (Hell, )]. (45)
Surah Al Baqara – 45
Allah Ta'ala said in Surah Al-Baqarah of Furqan Hameed in his great book Quran Majeed.
Guard strictly (five obligatory) As¬Salawât (the prayers) especially the middle Salât (i.e. the best prayer ¬ 'Asr).[] And stand before Allâh with obedience [and do not speak to others during the Salât (prayers)]. (238)
Surah Al Baqara – 238
This matter of safeguarding the prayer is due to its importance in the purification of the soul and purification of the self. The meditator of prayer finds divine wisdom in its multiple times and accuracy. He says in Surat al-Nisa:
Verily, As-Salât (the prayer) is enjoined on the believers at fixed hours.
Surah An Nisa – 103-Part
And about its different occasions: such as the five prayers of the day and night, the Friday prayer and the prayer during the traveling, the prayer in rain and fear, the prayers on eclipse of the sun and the eclipse of the moon and other prayers, and the ways of performing them such as shortening it, To alleviate, to ease the traveler and the sick. Wisdom is to strengthen the bond between the servant and his Lord at all times and in all circumstances. And to bring him close to high values, good morals and good deeds and to keep him away from their evil and evil is the exaltation of his self and his soul. He says in Surah Al Ankaboot:
Recite (O Muhammad SAW) what has been revealed to you of the Book (the Qur'ân), and perform As-Salât (Iqamât¬as¬Salât). Verily, As-Salât (the prayer) prevents from Al-Fahshâ' (i.e. great sins of every kind, unlawful sexual intercourse) and Al-Munkar (i.e. disbelief, polytheism, and every kind of evil wicked deed)
Surah Al Ankaboot – 45-Part
And in a blessed hadith, the Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: Have you seen that if there is a canal at the door of one of you in which he bathes five times a day, will there be any dirt left on him? He said: No impurity will remain in it. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: It is like the five prayers, by which Allah removes sins.
O servants of Allah: When the worshiper stands before his Lord, his spiritual ascension begins with Takbeer Al-Ihram and by saying Allahu Akbar, he realizes the greatness of the Creator and the power of the Lord over him and over everything. There is nothing greater than the majesty and power of the Lord Almighty, so he acknowledges his divinity, his heart is satisfied, and his eyes are refreshed that Allah is his creator and for him. Nothing is impossible for Him, and He is sufficient with His innumerable favors and innumerable blessings. When he finishes the prayer with contentment, all that was in his soul, many diseases, and anxiety, pain and resentment in his heart are extinguished by this prayer, and he is in the hope that his Lord will make him among the righteous people. I will add. He says in Surah al-Hijr:
"Truly! The Muttaqûn (pious and righteous persons - see V.2:2) will be amidst Gardens and water-springs (Paradise). (45) "(It will be said to them): 'Enter therein (Paradise), in peace and security.' (46) "And We shall remove from their breasts any deep feeling of bitterness (that they may have), (So they will be like) brothers facing each other on thrones. (47)
Surah Al Hijr – 45-47
========================================================
Praise be to Allah, I praise Him, Glorified is He, and I seek help from Him, I seek forgiveness from Him, and guidance from Him, and I bear witness that there is no god but Allah. He is alone, He has no partner. I bear witness that Muhammad (peace be upon him) is his servant and messenger. May Allah bless him and his family, his companions, followers and those who follow him until the Day of Judgment.
O servants of Allah, fear Allah, prayer is a gift of mercy from Allah, the Most Merciful, to His faithful and pious servants. Through prayer, the Muslim becomes an important and essential part of this universe, sharing with the creatures one of the secrets of this great existence, that is, the secret of its movements and movements according to an exact divine system- Allah Ta'ala says in Surah Al-Nur:
See you not (O Muhammad SAW) that Allâh, He it is Whom glorify whosoever is in the heavens and the earth, and the birds with wings out-spread (in their flight)? Of each one He (Allâh) knows indeed his Salât (prayer) and his glorification, [or everyone knows his Salât (prayer) and his glorification], and Allâh is All-Aware of what they do. (41)
Surah Al Noor – 41
This status and honor is enough for the praying person that Allah Almighty has included him in his promise to the believers that there will be no fear for them and they will not be sad and He says it in Surah Al-Baqarah:
Truly those who believe, and do deeds of righteousness, and perform As-Salât (Iqâmat-as-Salât), and give Zakât, they will have their reward with their Lord. On them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve. (277)
Surah Al Baqara – 277
So, O faithful, worship, seek the good news. And go to the presence of Allah with your souls before your bodies. Approach Him with hearts and souls filled with dignity and peace and remember the greatness of your prayers and the great mercy, reward that you have been promised. Repent until your heart is soft and remain strong and steadfast. Surely Allah will answer your prayers. In Surah Yunus there is a divine statement:
And We revealed to Mûsa (Moses) and his brother (saying): "Provide dwellings for your people in Egypt, and make your dwellings as places for your worship, and perform As-Salât (Iqâmat-as-Salât), and give glad tidings to the believers." (87)
Surah Yunus – 87
Surah Al Ahzaab – 56
