بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
الـهِجْرَةُ النَّبَوِيَّةُ وَبِنَاءُ الـمُجْتَمَعِ
Migration of the Prophet, (may ALLAH bless him and grant him peace,) and building a society.
All praises are to Allah, Lord of the Nights and Days, and Ruler of the Months and the Years, the Holy King, the Peaceful, Greatest is His Glory and Praiseworthy, Unique in His Eternity, Greatness and Endurance. I bear witness that there is no god but ALLAH, He is one and only one, He has no partner, Ever-living, Ever-lasting, He neither slumbers nor sleeps. I bear witness that our master Muhammad (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him) is the servant of ALLAH and His Messenger. Brightest like the full moon and the last of the Prophets, Prophet Muhammad, the Messenger of Mercy and Peace. Peace and blessings be upon him, upon his family, upon his companions, upon his distinguished followers, and upon those who follow him with goodness until the Day of Judgment. - Translation of the recited verse is:
(And there is also a share in this verse) for the poor emigrants, who were expelled from their homes and their property, seeking Bounties from ALLAH and to please Him. and helping ALLAH (i.e. helping His religion) and His Messenger (Muhammad SAW). Such are indeed the truthful (to what they say). (8) And (it is also for) those who, before them, had homes (in Al-Madinah) and had adopted the Faith, love those who emigrate to them, and have no jealousy in their breasts for that which they have been given (from the booty of Banu An-Nadîr), and give them (emigrants) preference over themselves, even though they were in need of that. And whosoever is saved from his own covetousness, such are they who will be the successful. (9) And those who came after them say: "Our Lord! Forgive us and our brethren who have preceded us in Faith, and put not in our hearts any hatred against those who have believed. Our Lord! You are indeed full of kindness, Most Merciful. (10)
Surah Al Hashr – 8-10
O servants of Allah, fear Allah - be righteous and obey Allah, O servants of Allah: I admonish myself and yourselves to fear Allah, so fear Allah and obey Him. Do it, and know that the one who hastens to act good will gain the pleasure of Allah and the one who strives on his own will also gain the pleasure of Allah and the one who strives for piety with a sincere heart. In Surat al-Hashr, Allah said:
O you who believe! Fear Allâh and keep your duty to Him. And let every person look to what he has sent forth for the tomorrow, and fear Allâh. Verily, Allâh is All-Aware of what you do[]. (18)
Surah Al Hashar – 18
O believers, we are about to welcome Muharram, a forbidden month granted by Allah. Saying goodbye to a previous Hijri year, and welcoming a new coming year, the cycle of time and moments, facts and events begins again with a succession of nights, days and months. ALLAH said in Surat al-Tawbah:
Verily, the number of months with Allâh is twelve months (in a year), so was it ordained by Allâh on the Day when He created the heavens and the earth; of them four are Sacred, (i.e. the 1st, the 7th, the 11th and the 12th months of the Islâmic calendar). That is the right religion, so wrong not yourselves therein,
Surah Al Tawba – 36-Part
The wise one is the one who knows the beginning and end of days and times and searches for the names and signs for the renewal of night and day. Allah's statement is in Surat Yunus:
Verily, in the alternation of the night and the day and in all that Allâh has created in the heavens and the earth are Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) for those people who keep their duty to Allâh, and fear Him much. (6)
Surah Yunus – 6
The servant of Allah is wise who understands these universal verses and continue to examine himself, and to make up for what has been missed, etc. And make a place to hurry in righteous deeds. Pure is the nature of our Lord, ALLAH said in Surah al-Furqan:
And He it is Who has put the night and the day in succession, for such who desires to remember or desires to show his gratitude. (62)
Surah Al Furqan – 62
The beginning of the new Hijri year is connected with the great event of migration of the last Prophet which was carried out by the order of Allah, Thus Islam starts a new chapter with it, a new chapter in its history. The emigration of the late Prophet, (may God bless him and grant him peace,) is an event of hope, planning, trust, and vision of the future. The emigration of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was a thoughtful journey, which was planned by the Lord of the Universe Himself. Relying on his Lord, the Bestower, hoping for success, comfort and reward, he immediately set out on his Lord's command to migrate— Brothers in faith, if we meditate on migration, a lesson in the importance of planning our lives and days, thinking about our choices and taking our decisions slowly, and lessons in friendship and loyalty for those who meditate. The Holy Quran has explained these meanings for us in a very beautiful and wonderful way. He told us the experiences of the Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, and his faithful companion in this human journey, and mentioned a special incident in Surat al-Tawbah:
the second of two, when they (Muhammad SAW and Abu Bakr radhiallahu'anhu) were in the cave, and he (SAW) said to his companion (Abu Bakr radhiallahu'anhu): "Be not sad (or afraid), surely Allâh is with us."
Surah Al Tawba – 40-Part
Along with the Hijrah - O ALLAH's servants - there are valuable lessons in achieving goals and ambitions with steadfastness in human principles and values, with patience, endurance, and flexibility in dealing with difficulties and challenges.
========================================================
All praise is due to Allah, thanks and praise be to the Lord, the Most High, and He is the Lord of the heavens and the earth, and I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, He has no partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) is His servant. Peace and blessings be upon the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and upon his family, upon his companions, upon his followers, and upon those who follow him until the Day of Resurrection.
Fear, O servants of Allah. The great migration of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, was not just a geographical step, but a moral journey towards building high aspirations and a high human society and achieving common projects and interests, the benefits of which woulf last forever. Through it, the candle of brotherhood, cooperation, unity and solidarity emerged in crises and tribulations and through it the flame of humanitarian service and community building was lit.
In the evolution of society, the rise and dignity of Muslims could not have happened without rejecting the familiarity between them, the brotherhood of souls and their closeness, division and disagreement. He said in Surah Al-Anfal:
And He has united their (i.e. believers') hearts. If you had spent all that is in the earth, you could not have united their hearts, but Allâh has united them. Certainly He is All-Mighty, All-Wise. (63)
Surah Al Anfal – 63
The emigration of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and the stay in the city of the Messenger, the beginning of the construction of society, is a testimony that cooperation among the people of a society is the path to progress and greatness, and that cooperation and solidarity are the path to success, and that societies and nations are formed by the help and joint efforts of their children, and thus protect their ranks. There is a hadith on the authority of Sayyidna Numan bin Basheer, who says that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said"
The example of the believers' mutual love and compassion for each other is like that of a body that when any part of it is in pain, the whole body feels the pain, even sleep is lost and the whole body is in pain. The body becomes feverish.
